This 1000 Miles is one of my favs. Wouldn’t it make a great commercial for a cell phone carrier??

Thanks Kasia for the pictures. I especially love the third one. He looks like a scientist in his laboratory. Hehe. A scientist who makes beautiful music. By the way, in that third picture, does anyone know what all those iPod like gadgets are?

I’m loving all the vids, the improv, bringing out the old stuff… I also love Johnny and his guitar accompaniment.

I can’t get over how responsive this KC crowd is. They’re loving the show, and I think Blake is really feeding off of that and giving even more.

I can’t get over how responsive this KC crowd is. They’re loving the show, and I think Blake is really feeding off of that and giving even more.

This is what stands out during Blake’s shows and I really enjoy. He does feed off the crowd but also other musicians on the stage.

This is yet another video from Canal Room that was posted on youtube. I wish I had enough space on my camera to record “Emotional Waterfalls” during the concert. One of my favorites. The song itself starts about 4 min. I really hope he will release an acoustic version like that. It is beautiful.

love watching the videos ..still like ATB the best because as charles c said blake can navigate a song from straight patriotism to jazz to electronica to protest… I wonder how he can concentrate on his music when either there’s chatter or the girls calling out….

PLEASE either call in or vote XMFAN.com..’Hits’ then 20 on 20 for HMW OR xm29 UPOP…BA was played this weekend …somehow the radio host picks up my call…I talked to Priestly..very nice of him to put my request of HMW “live” ..wonder how many calls they received??? I asked “come on, you can’t tell me that the kids call in at 8:00 AM for Miley Cyrus…he said. I kid you not for every call you make, we get at least 75 calls for her…what a fan base!…talked about Taylor Hicks and I will say now “I eat my words” I thought he would get slaughtered on Broadway but Taylor has used the one song to his advantage and made it the opposite of Frankie Avalon and made his into a “Tom Sawyer” character..well, its working so kudos to him…

Priestly mentioned its a shame that Blake was dropped by Arista but I replied BUT he’s still with 19E and planning on touring so all is good…beter to be with a record co who will market him for his ability rather then try to force into a style that is not his…I said he failed because of non-support..Priestly said the music is runned like corporate America only as good as the promotions set forth.. blah blah blah all of which we already know

so trying to make another appeal to the few who are here…please vote as many times as possible…wouldn’t it be a nice birthday present to Blake to get his song HMW on air again????

so Kasi or someone…please put a plug over at idolbored for the the blarmy team as well as other fans to start voting everyday.let’s make it happen

Thanks for all of the great vids and pics. He just keeps getting cuter! As far as Blake being dropped by Arista, I think is WAS Blake who dumped Arista. That’s according to my niece who is close to him and talks to him frequently. Regardless, I’m glad he’s not with them as they did ZIP to promote an outstanding CD. He’s going on tour this summer. Anyone know where?

Over at MJs, they are doing live reports from the first Idol concert. They said that right before the show, they showed a Blake video. I wonder what they showed? It is smart of 19 to show past idols. Maybe it will help jog people’s memories and help record sales.

A little late, but thanks so much for those pictures, Kasia. They’re really beautiful. I don’t think these were posted, more cute pics of Blake at the Canal Room.

The start of the new tour is making me miss the Season 6 tour. I thought a trip down memory lane would be nice. Loved the Cake medley, the Idol guy band, and Blake and Melinda’s Killing Me Softly. They all put on such a great show last year.

Nikki– I was sooooo thinking of that, last night. I was watching some YouTubes and getting all nostalgic. Man, those were heady days. The neat thing about those performances tho? Is that they hold up even today. It’s all still good.
This got stuck in my head last night! Yes, even while lurking at MJ’s.

I Heard it thru the Grapevine –Love this by Gladys Knight, and love it with Chris and Melinda and Lakisha too!

What Hurts the Most –remember how awed and surprised we were by this? Still like it almost better than the original.

awesome to see him doing Flowmotion. Question though…he lists all the days on his calendar, but according to Flowmotion schedule they only have him playing on the friday. Does that mean he is MCing it?

Joyce - I request at XM, when I can. And, sometimes I do request KMN with them, making a point to mention Lupe. I sort of wonder if you can ask Priestly to play that next time you talk to him. I know it is a stretch, but maybe that song could pick up some traction on its own with Lupe in it…
