I have some family members with musical ability and I wasn’t that bad at guitar-piano, but I was too lazy to read music so gave it up, lol. I guess I was more into the other arts like drawing, creative writing, and so on.
Same here Nic - I’m more into drawing, painting, crafts, etc. It makes me sad that I never had musical skills. Unlike you, I’d make the worst Idol auditions, for sure. That’s why I only sing when no one else is around, lol. I’m surprised the dogs don’t howl in misery when I sing in the house.
I forgot to mention that even though I resized the pics, if you want the “big” version you can click on the pic and it will take you to the big version. You can right click and save them.
Crystal J– isn;t it funny how that musical gene can skip a generation? Even snub one altogether? My mother’s side was very musical, even professional, musically. Seems unfair, when like I wish I had some of that! My total dream fantasy would be like a musical on Broadway, a review or something. yep. But, I guess that’s why people dream.:-)
All the emotion of art, without the talent. It sucks. ah well!
Unfortunately I’m watching my expenses very closely right now so I can’t download the ep. Hopefully the remixes will show up again at itunes or amazon when I’m feeling flush. From the samples I’ve heard, I really like the DJ Dan mix the most.
Change of subject, on Idol tonight, poor Syesha–she was thrown under the train tonight by having to perform that Penguin movie song–just as bad as Blake having to sing This is My Now as it was written last year at the finale.

I’m not a Syesha fan, but I have to agree. Had to feel bad for her to get that.
I wonder, that probably isn’t enough to get into the Top 200?
So, speaking of musical ability… I’m at work now (a State Park Lodge) and some guys are hear doing Bluegrass music. I’m not a big fan of Bluegrass, but live music is always different. We have guitars, mandolins, fiddles, bass, and singing. Very nice and what a great change for work. I can’t help but wonder if we could get a Bluegrass remix of “How Many Words,” LOL! I actually think it would be quite beautiful. They are here every week…hmmm….

From Ken Barnes over at Idol chatter concerning CD sales for this week:
Blake sold 1,600, up from 1,000, total 293,000

….the banjo came out later.
Crystal J– Actually? Now that you mention it? I can totally hear it!
:-) A banjo-laden version would be cool, like pop=rocks for your ears!
Bully - I’m totally digging this idea. Once I see these folks a couple of times…just maybe I’ll bring up the idea!
