I’m really excited too. Blake has the greatest ability to pick *the* perfect songs for himself. I know he won’t disappoint - he never does.

Jenlar, I did not comment at USA Today since you already had, but I did recommend your comment. I thought that was very well said and that it definitely sufficed for what needed to be said in response.
Also PJ, agreed, once stuff hits the mainstream press like this, it’s not really a “spoiler” anymore.
ETA: I don’t think that the placement of the contestants in the picture is any indication of how TPTB feel they should place on the show, etc etc. Blake and Lakisha have been pretty good friends throughout this, I think, so why wouldn’t he go to stand by her side? He’s stood by all of them in pics before. In fact, he’s next to Melinda in the “official” top 4 pic, so that could be construed as the “chosen” top 2 there also. I dunno, picture placement is just not that big of a deal to me. :)

I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t believe TPTB wants a Melinda/Jordan finale. It will be very boring (Fantasia vs Diana Degarmo Part II). They know it and we know it. I think they want Blake in the finale. Even if Blake rocks tonight, they will put him in the bottom with Lekisha tomorrow so that his fans will not be complacent and vote him into the finale the following week. Just my opinion.

Tara, you could be correct. I really don’t know what they want, but Blake in the finale would definately make more interesting teevee.
I like Blake’s choices, however I agree with Barry that Jive Talkin’ might have been a slightly better than choice than You Should Be Dancing… but I Think our boy will still knock it out of the park.
Sarah, glad to hear things have calmed down on your end.
I agree with those who said the picture placement is random. As a photography student, I could not picture (no pun intended) a professional allowing a producer placement preference get in the way of the best possible image. Height, coloring, clothing, and demeanor have to be taken into account in a situation like this.
