Seriously, I thought it was a good guest spot. He looked good, he was funny, at ease with the crowd, etc. Yeah, I wish they’d gotten to the breakdown of the vid too…
He even channeled a little Ethel Merman when the guy mistakenly said that there was “musical theatre/Broadway” on the CD. I’m sure most of the kids there had no idea who he was imitating tho, lol.

The host was listing several genres of music on ADD, one of them being musical theatre. Blake got a huge laugh out of that and said, “I didn’t put the Broadway on, sorry New York.” Everyone said “awww.” Blake put his hand out in the air and replied in an Ethel Merman voice, “I’m sorryyyy!”

Is there a limit to how often we can vote? Hehe. We should vote as much as we can so Blake makes the countdown. I love how “Apologize” is listed as Timbaland on their site, though :/. Fortunately “Stop and Stare” has been introduced as 1R on the radio here!

Did I miss the Action Sports thingy?? I forgot all about it…Anybody know if it has been on?
I taped the Action Sports thing Saturday but they didn’t show him that I could see. They ended with some band performing, but I couldn’t tell you who. I think they are supposed to show some more of it on SPIKE at some point this week.
The only thing missing from TRL was KJ Sawka! :)
The Action Sports thing airs on the 30th of this month… but I’m not sure if it’s on SPIKE, or CBS, or what.

My friend told me that she caught Blake on TRL today and was going on about how funny and cute he was. She quoted some parts from the show and was laughing. I was eating that up, but tried real hard not to get too into it, because I could’ve gone on for hours with her about him. lol. (I was silently squeeing to myself, though.) Methinks she likes BA as well. (: Next step: convince her to pick up a copy of the CD. (;

Brooke, thanks for the link. Blake was good. The co-host, Lindsey, is a dud, wow. She was totally not into him, and seemed put out when he kissed her hand at the end. But that just may be how she is with everyone. The guy, Damien, was much more professional. I’m glad the audience at least laughed at his jokes.
Random, but I was just surfing YouTube and I noticed that the Blake Lewis Official account recently re-uploaded the BA video to its account. The view count now is only in the thousands and it says it was added a day ago. I didn’t really notice any big changes to the video or anything, either, so I wonder what the point of this was? Also, the newly uploaded version looks really pixelated.
Sammy - you are right. It shows the vid being loaded 1 day ago. In another thread we talked about how the BLO vid has blue & green in the background for the breakdown. At the BLO site, it was still reddish. I thought maybe they would have reloaded it to match the reddish one. But no, it is still blue-green.
I though the blue-green vid was grainier-pixellated, but this version that is up now is even more so. Now, it could be my computer….but there were big pixeled squares when scenes were changing. Please tell me that is not intentional. It doesn’t fit the vid at all, which is full of flowing curves and waves, not squares.
I think whoever is managing this account tried to load the reddish version, and instead loaded the blue-greeen one, but a version with low resolution. I’m no computer expert and don’t read minds, but this is my guess. They need to fix this ASAP.
This WAS on Sat on CBS and Sunday on Spike. The only band shown was Cartel. You’d have thought at least Kanye or Ludicrous would have been shown, but maybe it cost them too much to show them?
I just deleted these from my DVR. Sat showed the bicycle and the skateboard. I think Spike only showed one of those events… So, maybe there is more running this week, or on the 30th. IDK.
Yeah, Crystal J., parts of it have been shown already - and I think there’s more this week. But I’m pretty sure they’re airing Blake’s (possibly Ludacris’ and Kanye’s too? idk) performance on the 30th. I, too, DVRed the ones that were shown this weekend, just in case.
The sad thing is when I looked at that list, I didn’t even no half the songs or artists. Yikes.
