I realize everyone’s probably seen this by now, but it’s so good I think it deserves its own post.
I love hearing Blake talk about his album! He threw in INXS as an influence this time, which thrills me because I heart that band - they were one of my faves growing up.
I couldn’t agree more Pam. Of course now there is nothing holding up any news regarding Blakes signing…other than he hasn’t signed anything yet. Which I still just don’t believe. Here is hoping we here something in the next week or two. Hopefully next week:)!

It was most definitely a relief to see Jordin’s press release come out! I really do think that if it’s left up to Blake, he isn’t going to want to waste any time in getting his announcement out there. I doubt they will announce anything over the weekend, although it’s possible, so I’m putting my bets on next Monday or Tuesday. I also believe that he’s already signed and working hard (like the workhorse we all know he is) with his label to get this album written and lay down the tracks ASAP. I believe that Blake is going to try his best to make the 11.20 date. Just because he said “near Thanks Giving” doesn’t mean that it won’t be November 20. November 20 is still near Thanksgiving last time I checked my calendar. I really do think that Clive is going to really be pushing Blake’s label, as well as Jordin’s, to shift into overdrive and churn these puppies out. Remember, the man is all about the money and Black Friday is like a treasure chest of gold and precious stones as far as sales are concerned. Anyway, regardless of what Blake’s already been saying, all he can do is work his hardest to get the tracks laid down…after his part is done, he doesn’t have much control over how fast the CD’s are made.

I really believe that Blake is working on that CD even harder now, especially his days off, ever since his last meeting with Clive and I believe he will do whatever is humanly possible to make the said date or he will at least come close.
