Where would I be Saturday night if I lived in the greater Seattle area? Easy. I’d be at Neumo’s celebrating
the release of The Mob Law’s first full-length CD, Hold Us Down. If you’re over 21 and live in the Seattle area, you should definately check out the party. Doxology, Shim, and Yeke Yeke are also on the bill. Tickets are only $10 and the doors open at 8pm.
Unfortunately, I will have to content myself with purchasing the CD from iTunes or CD Baby after the release. To listen to a preview of the new material, check out The Mob Law’s Myspace. They’re streaming three new songs every day until the party, so visit both today and tomorrow. Feel free to post what you think of the new tunes here.
I know we have some new readers, so be sure to check out our feature on The Mob Law if you missed it. Also, don’t forget to grab a copy of their previously released EP from iTunes or CD Baby.

I really wish I could be there too. *sigh*
I can’t wait to get the album though. I really like what I’ve heard of the songs so far!
I’ve been listening to their new songs each day. They’re great! :) I’m so glad Blake mentioned them, or I never would’ve heard of them.
Yeah i really love their music, along with common market, and emilia sosa! cant wait for their Cd release…
A.D.D:: 88 more days till possible release date!
I really dig what I’ve heard so far, too.
Yes, Blake did a good job promoting his local music scene on the show. Gotta respect him for that.
Check out The Panda Conspiracy, Missing Players, and Kevin Sawka as well!
