Thanks to Johnny Nails, we have a little tour news. Vague, but news nonetheless! From his latest email:
It’s been some time off the road so the stories have been minimal and I apologize about that. I will tell you that we are going back on the road starting March 3rd! The Break Anotha single is done with finally and we are moving on to the next single which is “How Many Words”! I like this song quite a bit so I’m glad we’ll be doing our 30 million television shows a week playing it. So….Another promo tour which is going to piggy back us into a “regular” tour schedule. Very very exciting. It looks like everyone still likes us and things are going well so I guess we should be appreciative of this time off.
We will probably be hitting “real” tour by april or so and that means coming to a town near you! Yayyyyyyy……….!
Can’t wait to hear more details! In other news, Blake will be appearing on a newish VH1 show called Free Radio later on this month. Find out more info about the show here! According to this site Blake’s episode(s?) will be airing 2/22, 2/23, and 2/24.

Thanks for the update! Although I don’t like how many words as many as I love some other songs, it is a good song. It would be great to see Blake on the TV screen again.
Although I got to say that Blake’s image could be better without the beard. He needs a clean, adorable image like back to AI days.
I don’t know what will happen to the record, and won’t get my hopes up. But it is certainly a very good one. The world needs to know about it.
It looks like 2/23 & 2/24 will be the repeating of what will air on 2/22 by the looks of the schedule here starting at the first 2/22 listing. :)
I agree, I don’t know why he insists on keeping that scruffy beard. He looks much more handsome when he is clean shaven.

That is really great news. I love his updates. They are funny and unique. Sometimes, I have to read it again to decipher what he is saying through his metaphors.
But I am glad he does; we have something to look forward in the next several weeks. :) Let’s hope we will get official news from Blake soon.
I hit Google just to see what would happen if I searched How Many Words and Blake Lewis, this guy’s cover popped up on YouTube. I’m including the link. Why? Well, obviously Blake’s version is better than this kid’s. But, it still somehow works. This song just might have legs…
When I heard an intern on one of the radio stations in town singing her version of Tattoo, I was a bit jealous. Because you know a song is making it into mainstream when amateurs start to perform it. So, I guess that’s probably why I was tickled to find this little rendition on youTube.
I personally love the beard… He does look really great in this picture!

Yeah, Pam, this guy’s version is a little lounge-singer-esque. And the melody is almost sacred to me because I’ve listened to Blake’s version so many times already. But I thought it was fun to hear another interpretation of the song that I love–and even this one kind of works.

Johnny says they’re starting the promo tour on March 3rd. I noticed that’s the week that the top 12 are announced on AI. It would be awesome if Blake could perform on the results show that Thursday!
