I’m digging our new polling software (thanks, MJ!). I’m also feeling a tad silly today, so I bring you a new poll.

What's your favorite Blake slogan?

I have a Save a Drum, Bang a Beatboxer shirt (homemade) and bracelet (from the uberBlaketastic chicas at IdolBored.com, if you want one for yourself!)…They are awesome, and always a conversation piece! lol

“Save the beatboxer, save the world” has always been my favorite.

Last year, I always use to write it on the marker board in my math class.

My teacher never got it, but he let me keep it up there.

It was really funny.

Here is one slogan I made up: Beatboxers Do Beats. BUT I Do The Beatboxer.

By far, my favorite look was when he sang “Love Song” by the Cure. He looked just smokin hot-hair, outfit, the whole package!

I like the ‘Save the Beatboxer, Save the World’ but saving drums is very important too….

OK…seriously. The night he sang Love Song, he was freaking irresistable. He was HOT…and he had the mysterious vibe going for him, too! Oh…I will NEVER forget the eyef*ck everyone got through the camera during that performance! That camera person must be dead. He left me wanting more and he hadn’t even gotten to center stage yet!

I love all your inuendos’ involving his “banging” so to speak but I choose to stay away from the beatboxing because I want people to think of Blake as a singer and artist and not be labeled a beatboxer…I truly think stations are resistent to him because of this and do not equate him to singing…just a thought…if anything I love his hidden message of men playing the horn and women play the flutes..or something like that…I know one of you will get it right, he said this statement on one of his radio interviews..

how about Blake can “play my ivories” anytime (reference the keys on a piano) alright I’ll rethink this one again

Another cute slogan that I have seen (maybe I saw it on a sign in the AI audience) is:

“Blake Lewis Beats My Box”

Joyce - I think you are absolutely correct. If we, the fans, keep emphasizing the beatboxing it will be harder for others to see past it. My favorite picture of Blake is still the one of him at the piano.
