Unlike past seasons, we have yet to receive any official press releases regarding record deals for the top two Idols. So instead, we’ve had to piece together snippets of info gleaned from interviews, gossip from insiders, etc. Well, the latest piece of the puzzle comes straight from the horse’s mouth. - Blake met with Clive Davis a week and a half ago, presented his album, and has been given some creative control
- Blake has recorded 8 songs to date
- Blake is working on a new song with Chris Richardson
- Chris Richardson is also writing songs for Jordin

I love that pic too. It’s the first impression I ever got of Blake, actually…MJ used it when she posted her season 6 spoiler info way back in December. I think I read somewhere that Ethan took that photo.
