On the positive…I just checked itunes to see where BA was on the pop charts, and it had moved up from 44 to 41. Not huge, but a step in the right direction. It looks like BA will be getting the big push starting today with Ryan Seacrest, five stations were also added this morning. So there is some happy news:)

Hey if you go to that sonymusicbox thingy.. they added two more tracks!

    its hottttttttttttt

Butet thanks for posting that. Both of those; Durty Funk and Hyper Psych, are not on the album. I wonder if those are bonus tracks? I like the sound of Hyper Psych.

Your Welcome. I had went on this morning to listen to I Got U, and they had said that there was no results found. Then I searched it again and then I saw that they had added two new tracks. I was all excited, I yelped out a lil, and people were looking at me. I love Durty Funk, I think the only word I could think of was HOT. I felt like Paris Hilton, just a lil when I say “thats hot”, I don’t do it often, only when my brain cant comprehend the segzyness (my way of saying sexy).

Thanks Butet! they seem like interludes…haha durty funk sounds a lot like those beatbox freestyles he would do during tour.

*sigh* Anyone can capture those two new songs for us poor bastards that can’t listen to them?

Thank you so much to anyone who can do that….

Yeah, “Durty Funk” and “Hyper Psyche” definitely sound like interludes. HP sounds like totally whacked out techno, haha.

I think that after the major radio stations start pushing the song, the digital sales will go back up.
I am not sure why the label released the song to I-Tunes so soon, but hey I guess they are learning too.
I have a great feeling now that the album will sell much better.

Give me a sec, Bouffe :) I’ll update this comment with the url when I get it uploaded.

    ETA:
Here is the order of the song clips (yes, I’m a random person): Hyper Psyche, durty Funk!!!, What’cha Got 2 Lose?, I Got U, Here’s My Hello, and Break Anotha. The recording quality is a bit tinny, but not horrible. The link will be up til tomorrow and then I’ll be taking it down. Let me know if that’s not enough time :)

OT, I apologize, but I wanted to let everyone know that, according to The Sauce’s website, Blake will be appearing on Wednesday, December 5, not Thursday. Didn’t want anyone to miss it. Confirmation link below (I don’t know how to change the links into pretty blue words!)

LOL, Blake is not the first artist Arista has signed and is promoting. They are not “learning”. They know how to promote the hell out of artists; they’re pretty much old pros at it. They may be trying a different approach with Blake, but this is stuff they’ve done many, many times before.

My hunch is that the song was released early to iTunes for the fans… I could be wrong, but that’s just my hunch.

I am wondering if they want Blake cd to stay awhile. So are doing things hoping to keep interest in it and maybe next year Blake will be at ama just a thought. I dont know why or really care all I know is that I like Break Anotha and really want to hear rest of Blakes cd. He can climb back up and I am sure he will.

Completely unscientific survey but spins seem to be really exploding tonight on yes.com…I’ll be really interested to see the MediaBase numbers tomorrow morning esp with these two spins on KIIS :D

  19. 19 NBNN Nov 29th, 2007 at 9:56 am

And the MediaBase numbers are going up. Several new starters, including the two LA spins of course, and more additional spins. AND a bump in Audience count. I think BA may be gaining momentum.

Awwweesome. I think it’s starting to catch on, too!

  21. 21 Nic Nov 30th, 2007 at 9:18 pm

I hope the song catches on, once he’s actually on TV and his CD comes out. Jordin’s song took a few months to get going and now I hear it often on the radio.
