Make sure you log on to poptarts.com all summer long to check out the latest webisodes. They’ve already got a couple up! There’s not an abundance of Blakeness so far, although he is shown quite a bit in the preview vid (edited down to just the Blake segments)…
Okay, now for some dirt…the Idols are currently hard at work in L.A. rehearsing the show. Usually, tour spoilers are pretty hard to come by. As in, we never get them. Heh. But this year? We’ve got a blog-happy Idol that’s been sharing tidbits here and there. Find out more after the jump!
Our Blogging Idol is Chris Sligh. While he doesn’t spill details, he’s said that the opening number is something that’s never been done on the tour before, and he’s also mentioned something about a “Cake section” (his words!). Hmm. Speculate away!

Hey, I was just over on TWOP and there are a couple of new pictures of Blake. They actually are from the people mag., but they show all of him. He is in shorts and flip flops. Very cute. But the pictures are very small.

I have a feeling that the tour’s opening number is a singing and dancing number with choreography by Wade Robson from So You Think You Can Dance. Aside from the Nigel thing, Wade has some fantastic group opening numbers on SYTYCD. And for another year, my pick is gone. Blake, Ryan, Ricky.
I also have thought that the guys number will be a instrument group number since most play multiple instruments.
Sarah, the things that went on last summer re Taylor and the sites were just on the tip of the iceberg. It just might be a SP thing or the internet following, yet the media scrutinizes everything. The bulk of the multi-part interviews he gave with the Gray Charles site last summer/during the tour was rather cringe-worthy since I have an inkling that TPTB would be reading sites during the summer. Some things are better left unsaid if you want cordial relations in the industry and with consumers.
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article art Ninja at Team Plaid, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
