Don’t forget that Blake will be on The View on Thursday. The show is pre-taped and he is supposedly taping it on Monday. We also have a new tab for the American Idols Live tour, and are experimenting with ways to let you respond and have a place to talk about meeting up for the tour. Give us a little bit more time on that. Also, if there are any dates you know of that I left off the list, please let me know and I’ll add them.

There is American Idol: Season 6-Greatest Hits available at itunes.. Blake’s song is YGLABN.. There is also American Idol: Season 6- The Collector’s edition and everybody in Top 12 have their own EPs or singles
Not surprising that Blake’s Song is YGLABN. That one brought the most buzz. But I really want to have a SOWK single, too.

Two things from MJs, one good and one not so good. http://www.people.com/people/package/quiz/question/0,,20040542_20040540_20040550_1,00.html The first one is part of a quiz and if you look to the right, there’s a video where Blake tells what he likes in a woman. I liked a lot of his answers. He likes to be set up by friends and enjoys matchmaking others. He’s not into picking up girls at bars. When he meets them he gives them his number. It certainly doesn’t sound like he’s a player at all. Maybe Chris Richardson can set him up, lol. I don’t know for sure but wonder if he may be in People’s Hottest Bachelors issue.
The bad is this gossip rumor about Blake. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19079610/ It said he was at Planet Hollywood in Vegas (do we know if that’s even true?) and wouldn’t talk to some elderly fans. It just doesn’t sound like Blake to me.
Okay, I can answer my own question. He & Chris R were in Vegas over the weekend.

Star, I don’t believe the Enquirer story either and I’ll fess up to having LAUGHED OUT LOUD when I read it. Too funny. Blake Lewis is a superstar in his own mind. A real MEGALOMANIAC by all accounts. Gonna have to spank him;)

Sometimes you just have to consider the original source of the rumor (National Enquirer) and then compare it to what you’ve seen (Blake’s consistently polite behaviour) and you can figure out what to believe.
There’s an icon on NE’s main webpage that says, “Got gossip? We’ll pay big bucks!” Looks like somebody lost a little too much in the slots and needed some cash so they made something up.

Okay, I saw the article in the National Enquirer’s June 25th edition about Blke captioned “Runner-up NO ‘IDOL’ for adoring fans. He was spotted at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas June 7th. This Lisa Anderson saw what happened. Basically it says that four older female fans merely came up to him and politely asked him if he was Blake Lewis from American Idol. After “snarling” at them and said NO!, he pulled out his phone and quickly called someone saying that “You wouldn’t believe all the people bothering me here. Minutes later, Chris Richardson and two young girls came to Blake’s rescue and walked him away….Lisa reported that in a few months people are going to be asking: ‘Blake who?’ “Blake Lewis is no ‘Idol’ in my book.” This article was written by Alan Butterfield.
I find this hard to believe because Blake doesn’t seem like the type to do this. At least I hope this is not true because it certainly would damage him at this early stage of his careeer. Blake has many fans of all ages and though “fans” can be aggressive at times, it’s just something people who achieve fame have to deal with. If you don’t have fans, you have nothing.
Who reads the Enquirer and believes that stuff? Many people read that rag for the laughs; however, this article is written so that it appears to have no ulterior motive and some people will believe it. If this didn’t happen and is in fact untrue, Blake should demand an apology and a retraction from the Enquirer if you ask me.
I couldn’t understand some parts of this article and Ends at Team Plaid, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
I don’t mean to be too in your face, but I’m not sure I agree with this. Anyhow, thanks for sharing and I think I’ll come to this blog more often.
