The concert dates that I come up with for M5 start in March all the way across the globe in Thailand, then Manila, Korea, and Japan, then they move into China, Australia, and New Zealand.

I’m very intrigued about the overseas thing, although Blake didn’t elaborate. It may just be a promo tour and not a real tour with another band, but we already read they may add different songs to his European edition of the CD. Could they possibly be marketing him as more techno-electro in other countries? Someone told me France is into weird techno music and not much rock, for example.

sorry you missed it :(! I am sure someone will post the video on Team Plaid for you. Blake did really well, too bad the band couldn’t play live with him. The pink haired one looked like he was wishing he could go nuts and he had to be somewhat restrained on that tiny stage, LOL.

I much preferred the musical guests on FOX over ABC so I pretty much stuck with FOX for the most part. I thought Finger Eleven rocked, but I wonder why they had a taped live performance?

Notice that the drumkit and keyboard setups were identical for Blake, Jordan, and LifeHouse (minus keys). I also noticed that the same stage was being used for ABC coverage, no doubt the same setup. Fox and ABC just alternated their show acts, and without time for proper equipment setup - there are the backing tracks.

Blake and Jordan both had live mics (probably LifeHouse and the ABC show acts, so they were able to sing over the top of the CD - either singalong or with other lines / beatboxing.

Heh,, and yes Blake looked like he was having ‘a good time’.

And KJ reminded me of “Animal” from the Muppet Show - arms flailing around not really hitting anything. :)

Had to be a blast, performing in Times Square on NYE to the huge crowd, the big jumbotrons behind.

Blake was amazing, as always last night, and not only did he have his friends there to support him, in the form of the A.D.D. band, of course, and Jordin & Chris Rich, but he also had a date in the form of one of his Idol finalists! I’ve been told that Haley was in New York with Blake last night, and what I was told, was confirmed to be true when the two of them showed up together, along with the A.D.D. band, to Kid Rock’s NYE party at some hotel in NYC. I was out of town and just now seeing all of the New Years Eve performances. Must say Blake and the guys did a great job. Looked like they were have too much fun:) Afterwatching all the other performances that have been taped, Blake seemed to be the most relaxed and sounded the best. Still don’t know if the song will be a hit or not, but do know that there is enough to pull from on this album. Here is hoping that 2008 is a great year for Blake and for everyone else here:)

While its true, I hate how it gives the haters some fuel to say what a horrible person he is.

I suspect those who are bashing him for this video are the same ones who have been bashing him from day one too.

Having said that, he MAY want to be a *little* more careful in what he says on camera in the future just in case he DOES turn off potential fans from buying his CD. The “titties in your mouth” stuff doesn’t personally offend me but then I’m a pretty easy-going person. Not everyone is.

Agreed with others that his performance was great, energetic, controlled. When he was spazzing out all over the place, however, Cat Deeley, Jordin and the Spike guy actually looked uncomfortable but B was more hyper than an ass I think.

I still think one performance during AI7 will do more to boost sales (will be perplexed if he’s not invited) than three late night talk shows, but the timing’s great. People are watching the late night shows more now precisely bc they were off the air.

someone on the TMZ site posted that it sounds like Blake said some GUY CALLED HIM a douchebag, and he didn’t “even know him”. That actually makes sense in a way considering the last part of his remark (and the way that some folks irrationally hate B!).

He might want to restrict the “T’s in your M” for his friend’s myspace pages at this rate, since it’s turning off some people.

Singing on Idol 7 would definitely help with exposure and CD sales, didn’t alot of those guest singers see an increase in sales after they sang on Idol last season? I think “How Many Words” would go over very well in that venue. :)

Coming back on AI I think would help boost Blake’s sales as well. It certainly wouldn’t hurt anything and it would be a great way to refresh the viewers memories so to speak and to let them know he has a CD out. I’m not counting on it, but I think it would be good. :)

It looks like the bashers have had a field day with a 30-second video of a non-event. I agree with DJ’s observation that he was trying to keep the cameras off of Haley — somebody in the group stepped in front of her, too — plus he wasn’t particularly interested in talking with the paparazzi and he got called names. It didn’t seem to me like there was anything terribly outrageous about his behavior (his comment was a bit gratuitous but I’ve heard worse in middle-school hallways) and he didn’t appear to be a falling-down mess, either. He’s almost in a no-win situation sometimes — we are a society quick to judge.

The show made it seem like Blake and Haley are dating. They asked Haley about the future with him, and she looked playfully at the camera and said, I don’t know, we’ll see what happens! And they showed Blake freaking her outside of a club, and he was all, WE’RE GETTING FRISKY!, and then he opened the door for her as they went inside. To finish the segment, they showed the “titties in your mouth” remark from him & KJ.

Because Perez has always thought he was gay. Perez does the same thing with other male celebrities he’s accused of being gay, he writes through his own gaydar filter. If Haley was more of a “name” celebrity there would probably be more gossip. People could barely remember her name while she was on AI. Being seen holding hands with Jordin got more coverage. I have no feelings on it at all - but considering Blake just admitted he’s a 31 Flavors kind of guy I guess she’s the flavor of the moment
