Joyce, agreed. He was very into the brunette - she reminded me of Haley. He also seemed adamant about “it’s all about the sex.”. I like hearing the details of his arrangements.
Can we put aside the bow ties and bring back the bandanas?
Blake makes all his songs sexy.
And yes, he was totally smitten with that chick. lol

He looked cute, but honestly those bow ties have got to go, the outfit was really cool but it would have looked much better without the bow tie. Sorry just being honest.

I’m kinda conflicted on the bow tie vs. the bandanna. At least with the bow tie, we can see his neck. LOL
The bandannas are cute if they match the wardrobe but it’s all about the music so as long as B is happy, I can live with it. :D

I don’t like either the bow ties or the bandanas.
He doesn’t need those things, he is pretty short so putting things on his neck will not help elongate his upper torso.
I kinda of like the t-shirt and plaid pants look or the preppy look he used to wear. (Sweater vests, like when he sang Somewhere Only We Know the first time). He looked so handsome that night! JMHO.
Screw the bowtie and bandana, I miss the hat that everyone seemed to hate so much. I think Blake looks great in hats. (Seems like we will never be satisfied with what he wears. I hope he doesn’t look at our comments for style info. We can never come to a consensus.)
I love whatever Blake chooses to wear. There are so many sides to Blake!!! The different styles of music, how he enjoys rearranging the songs he sings, the different characters he plays, etc. He definitely is not boring, lol. We never know what he will come up with next. It is all part of his personality and what makes us love him so much.
Okay– you all are missing the point which is, when he said HE READS THE BLOGS, and so he knew WE knew about the Security Guard get-up and would be all like OMG! about it. heh. (Also, I wonder what he thought about our delight about the poptart costume, when it happened?)
and while he does look tired in the interview? Uh yeah, he def thought that brunette was cute. MMmmm.
“Definitely Not a role model,” LOL. Watching the interplay between those two in the second vid makes me blush! *pink* Makes me feel like a voyeur.
My take on the wardrobe thing? I like the absence of hats, so we can see that pointy hairdo. I also relate more to the geek wardrobe, but it’s all up for grabs where he’s concerned. Doesn’t seem to matter much, because I’m always surprised.

I’m not feeling the bowtie with THAT particular outfit. Sometimes the bowtie can work (like when he wore the new clothes for the first NH show I attended), sometimes not so much.
Hmm yes, he was digging that girl, she seemed TOTALLY his type from a physical perspective! I also had wondered if he was blushing and one of you mentioned the flushed face, lol.
Who can forget the Kat Deeley segments?? Why the hell didn’t they ever air those on American TV, and only showed them in the U.K.? :/ I remember that first little interview where she was looking at his tattoos and pawing his arm, LMAO. That honestly was the FIRST time I thought, “Wow, he’s really HOT”. I mean, I had thought he was a cute little art-music dork before but he just seemed so very sexy in that video clip.
I knoe he really liked Kat Deeley. THey seem to be very into each other, but I guess nothing came out of that. THey would make a really HOT couple IMO.
Totally digging her. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him flushed like that! :-) I guess that’s why he was a little naughty in the second half segment! He might’ve been tired, but not *too* tired!

Sometimes you all make me laugh with your crush on Blake. On style I loved his hats and I love everything he wears because you can tell hes not trying to impress anyone but be comfortable. I am one of those ladies that never been impressed with what ya wear unless you look comfortable in it. The bandana’s I still choose to think they were worn because of his vocal cords. I know KIKI wasnt wearing that scarf for fashion this summer so dont think Blake was trying to make a fashon statement either. The bowtie I like him with it when he wears a vest but it doent quite work with what he wore recently but like has been said he can wear what he wants far as I am concerned. He can even run around in Ellen underwear looking for her to say thank you in fact would have loved to seen that.
No no, the bandanna is definitely a fashion statement. Lots of rocker-guys are wearing them…we just aren’t liking it! hah!
I like how he is so open and unpretentious. Like a 5yr old, happy to show off his new underwear– how can anyone not laugh and find that endearing? Still waiting for pics on that, btw. :-)

FYI - on a Kentucky visit. I was listening to the KISS station in Louisville KY (98.9) this morning and they mentioned that Blake and One Republic were going to be on the show soon. No more details so I don’t know a date or if it is a live appearance or call in - but with what he said in the interview I’m wondering if it might be live. I’ve emailed the station to ask. One Republic is listed as being on the morning show Friday. We know Blake has the Memphis gig on Friday night - your guess is as good as mine! But I do like the fact that a Clear Channel station is at least mentioning him. I’m wondering (hoping!) if maybe Clear Channel is going to push him all at once?!

RE: bow tie. I’m with chatforblake - as long as B likes what he wears, and wears what he wants, I’m happy. I do think the bow tie didn’t work with the outift in the Star Power Interview, but he still looked good, even tho he was obviously tired!

Yes, it’s VERY nice to see something other than “THE beatboxer” (I’m talking to YOU, Randy Douchebag Johnson). Too bad there was no inclusion of producer too since he co-produced “Break Anotha” and “What’cha Got 2 Lose” ;).
My guess is that the label may push the song heavily right before and after the New Year’s Eve gig if he’s still supposed to perform BA there?? We all know that the song seems to translate MUCH better to a LIVE performance than on the CD, for whatever reason (was there over-production like with most Idol-related albums?).
He was definitely blushing up a storm with that Brandi girl, hee! ;) Remember when he said he was the nerdy loner in high school - maybe some of that was coming out there (the shyness). Is it just me or does HER body language also scream that she’s digging him?
