Just wanted to drop a line and say “Hello”
Much has been going on. Just got back from Norway with The Hollywood Knights, a charity organization to help raise money to fight off cancer. It was an amazing journey and hope to do more charitable work with them in the future.
On to news. In the next couple of weeks, I will have more detailed info on My Tour, a new label that is signing me and a new single, that should be out by October. Werd Up!
I just got done playing a bunch of characters in Common Markets latest music video, that should be out next month called Trouble Is. Look out for BOB BOBBERSON. Surprised
I’ll have some pics from The Meltdown and Norway up on my Myspace soon.
Thank you all for the Bday love and gifts. You are all to good to me and I just hope someday I can be so generous.

It did feel a little personal at first and I was initially a bit hesitant whether to put it here. On the other hand the blogger said “for all you fans out there…”, so I assumed the person is aware that people read that information and is willing to share it with strangers. I did not mean to raise any controversy by bringing it here or pry into Johhny’s private live. I just thought it was a fun and interesting fact that Johnny works with little kids. I bet it must be tons of fun to have him as a teacher.
You would not believe how easy it is to find information on internet. I think this link came up in google news or blogs when I put Blake’s name.

According to an lovely little email I received from TicketWeb this morning, The NYC Knitting Factory show has been cancelled and I will be receiving a refund. What is going on? Please let it not be poor ticket sales off the bat, the first week of September. That would be ridiculous. I’m pretty worried, if they’re cancelling the New York City date. That should have been one of his biggest shows… oh good lord.

I have a friend that is a big star in Asia and it’s amazing what you can find out about her on the internet. It’s just kind of odd cause I read things that aren’t true all the time.

What was the date of that? I know there was a problem with KJ playing down here the first week of October so that may have been the “scheduling conflict” that Johnny (or was it someone else) was talking about. He’s in Baltimore playing after my kid’s school of Rock plays at 8X10 on October 4th. Is that the day or around the date?
I doubt they would cancel so early when they really haven’t even advertised the shows yet at most of the places. They don’t cancel that early usually.

It was October 5th, but the scheduling conflict I thought would have been the fact that they are off the 3rd and 4th (when Kevin has shows). I’m sure Kevin would travel the morning of the 5th for the NYC show or overnight on the 4th. ALthough what do I know? I just am so curious as to why one of the biggest shows got cancelled! :( And selfishly, I’m sad because of course I was going to that one. Ah, oh well. Just would love to know the reason!

Did you try to call the venue. Sometimes they can tell you why it was cancelled…or at least who it was cancelled by. They also might be able to give you an idea of the number of tix there were sold. and yeah…I’m sorry greeneyesxo. You def deserve a show in your area.

I am also curious about the reason why the show was cancelled. Hopefully, it will be replaced by another one in NYC. Another possibility, come to Pa for one of the shows.

I am pretty sure OneRepublic had a concert at Crocodile Rock Cafe this year and I have seen a few videos from the concert on youtube. We will see hot strick they are with no camera policy.
Just a quick B.L.A. update… We’re checking with Blake to see if he will have posters/fliers/etc for the street team to distribute. As soon as we hear back somebody will post the info here. Hold off just a *little* longer on the fliers, y’all, and we’ll know exactly what we need to do. In the mean time, check your myspace bulletins for a great-looking graphic for your page!
About the canceled show… doesn’t that just happen sometimes, for whatever reason? I hope that he reschedules in the area because I know that lots were planning to attend that show.
I can’t figure out the bulletin thing so I’ll have to let my daughter figure that out. I’m holding the fliers, but not sure why?? Can’t a fan get the information out earlier than the official “sponsored fliers” or is that strictly forbidden by some rule I haven’t read yet? I just don’t get what that would hurt. They are obviously selling tix to the concert here, so it’s a go.
The fliers don’t say BLArmy on them or anything btw, in case that matters.
They were just something I was going to put on cars near the club while I was up there today. I don’t get to Baltimore that often and was going to take advantage of the opportunity. What are the chances someone will be able to do that at a later date after official BLArmy fliers come out. Ok, seems like a lost opportunity to me. Ok,….yeah venting….had a bad, bad week that isn’t looking to end well. :(

Thanks for the info! I actually had found out it might be rescheduled for the Canal Room a few days ago, but I don’t think it’s actually all set in stone yet so I didn’t want to say anything without knowing for sure. I’m not sure how that person knows that though, because I checked the Canal Room site and all the ticket sites and it’s not listed. However, October 5th IS open on their calendar so I’m assuming it will be a go. :) I hope! I’m going to the NJ shows though so it’s fine… I just love NYC shows so that’s why I was hoping he’d play the Knitting Factory, esp. since it’s one of the biggest venues on the list so I was excited for him! But we shall see how it all plays out!

According to the blog Carlotta just put up, the NYC show has been rescheduled for October 1st at the Canal Room! :) And apparently they had to move it due to “intense ticket sales” so they needed a bigger venue! Hmm! YAY for that then!
