I only set my tivo to record Regis & Kelly, so I kinda hope he’s not on the View or TRL today. LOL. And I really hope he gets to go on Ellen soon, since she loved him on the show so much. That would be a great interview!
Re: the video with Sy Smith - I always thought it may have been taken down as more of a precautionary measure since it was made while he was on the show. And also since she’s an employee of 19E (I guess technically he kinda was, too). But now that I think about it, that doesn’t really make sense, so…
ETA: Yeah, pj, he mentioned in an MTV interview about doing an extended version of “She Will Be Loved” on tour with loops and pedals. It sounds like it’s gonna be really cool.
Erinn- He’s toward the end, maybe 2/3 through? Yeah, I’m not a fan, either. :D
star- He was wearing his YGLABN jacket, buttoned up this time, and his plaid pants. I *think* that they are the ones he called his favorite pants.

We received an email from Eric Schwartz, the guy responsible for the Blake mockumentary, thanking us for posting it. He said he had to do a lot of research for it and that Blake’s way more talented than he could show on Idol (not that we didn’t already know that

I saw a taper in the audience too. She had a camera, but it seemed like she was making a video. I hope she uploads that to youtube - if it didn’t get confiscated.
I noticed that the sides of his hair have been lightened. Kind of a dirty blond/ light brown. It accentuates the darker hair on the top. I don’t think it was always that way, but I think this is the best light and picture that I’ve had for a hair close up so I could be wrong. Still skunk. I love the skunk though.
Also, when asked by Regis to do a cartoon character he said “Dude, sweet!” in a Stan voice. I heart South Park. Hee.

I’m suffering through The View now. The things I do for Blake. They didn’t mention him at all in the opening though, so who knows? All they’ve talked about is finances so far. I guess since Suze Orman is the guest cohost that will be the theme though.
LOVED him on R & K. I am so looking forward to seeing him do (on the tour) hopefully a full version of what he did today on there. :)
ParkAve - I think his performance will be outside. I am about 95% sure it is part of the summer concert series. But even if it’s not outside, they usually come out of the studio to talk to fans waiting out there at a couple of point during the broadcast.
I’ve read a few tips for if you’re standing outside: get as close to Al as possible; next to a mom with a baby (because Al loves babies and talks to the parents on the air); take a creative poster (usually the celebs will stop to sign posters they like, if they have time). ALWAYS watch the exits and try to make friends with the security guards.
Of course, if the performance is outside, disregard all of the above and push your way to the front of the stage! lol.
And don’t forget - get there early! I’ve read before about people getting there at like 4 or 5 am. Yeah, I know. Crazy.
You’d think I’d been to a taping before, eh? Nope, just read the tips. LOL.

Last year people got there at 2am for Taylor. No joke. I doubt it will be that bad this year. They still make you wait outside the taping area until sound check is done, but you may get to hear and see sound check! It should definitely be outside. If not, there may be a riot. heh
Also, don’t try to stand near the hosts for the interview segment. They did the interviews last year off to the side. It was pretaped away from the crowds. It will probably be the same tomorrow.
I remember someone mentioned a doorman being a good person to “friend,” but I don’t know what he was the doorman for or how it was helpful. I thought they shot outside 30 Rock, and I didn’t think there was a doorman.
Rolltide, you are amazing. I had to mute it after about a minute. Ugh. At least Spanx is an awesome product. I’m not sure I’d care about listening to the creator though.
