There are actually 7 remixes downloaded, but only 6 showing up in the poll. I think it’s one of Dave Aude’s that’s missing?

It’s driving me crazy, but did DJ Dan sample another song in his remix? I can’t put my finger on it, but something sounds very familiar. Thru the first part it sounds like some other song, then in the middle, it almost sounds like he switches tempo to “Time after Time” for a moment?
pj — I took that as meaning the remixes would be only avalible for download and not an actual hard copy (though you would think that EP would imply that
) not that it will only be avalible for one day - but that’s just me.
I still can’t pick one favorite — all the remixes appeal to me in different ways

I liked all of them but like DJ Dans the best. Makes me want to put on my dancing shoes and red dress and go out clubbing lol.

I do not know about you but I think I will have a hard time choosing the favorite one. They sound awesome. Maybe we could do the songs battle. That is, favorite from radio edit, from club mixes, etc. Need to go back to listen to them again.

Boy, I’m having a hard time deciding which one I like best. They sure make me want to hit a club (something I haven’t done in a very, very long time). My favorites are the ones with B’s sweet voice in them the most!

I finally got a password I could log in with so, I’m a day or two late commenting and providing valuable information.
My fav of the ep is the first Dave Auld mix. Like LD said you can hear the pure voice of Blake…. It’s just note HMW without the lyrics..
The ADD Train is moving right along. If you haven’t checked it out, please do so…Hopefully B will be checking in to see what’s happening soon.
He said he has some new appearences coming up but there’s no schedule as of yet. Anxious for those…ya.

Thanks Skipperdjl for the update. There are never too many of Blake’s appearances. I am hoping there will be lots of them, so people who did not see Blake yet can experience it live, and quietly wishing for another concert in Pa. I am glad there are videos to relive it again.
Still cannot decide which remix is my favorite. I like Dave Aude radio edit, Dave Aude club remix, DJ Dan remix too. Each has something unique in them and is appealing for different reasons. DJ Dan reminds me of BT. What I find interesting is that those are pretty much the same songs that I thought I liked most after hearing just snippets of remixes.
Did I mention I dislike signing into things? LOL.. LOVE ya still.
I love the EP’s. BUT.. yes there is a BUT.. But I wish there was an acapella (SP?) or just him with his loop pedals..
I really hope that the HMW remixes will be available after the 13th, because I can’t buy it yet.
Hey all– so far, I think I am liking the Benson radio edit best. It’s the next to the last one, and has the most “Neverending Story” midi type flow, along with lyrics. :-) I agree, I like the ones with the SONG in it best. Need to hear the song in it, for it to be “right”.
Re the ADD Train: I am still trying to be positive-push for Blake and the music. I feel good about what I have done, but it’s small ripples.
Some of you are just kicking *ss, and I am just really tickled! When I hear about different stuff, it makes me really proud.
I voted for the Dave Aude Radio Edit. I like that it still has the lyrics of HMW, but I also like the beat. I think that the DJ Dan Remix best represents the spirit of the song, however, since it says “I Love You”…”I’m Through With You” “I Love You”…”I’m Through With You” oodles of times. And isn’t that what Blake said his relationship was all about? Getting together, breaking up, getting together, breaking up. I felt the struggle throughout that remix
The EP is up to #2 on iTunes in the Dance category (I have no idea if that is good or not, since I don’t really follow the dance music charts), but Go Blake!

heey guys this is off topic but a few minutes ago i sent a txt to Q-102 my radio station, asking if they could play how many words by blake lewis and he said ” he got droped by his label… we’ll never play him. sorry. ” so whats up ?? what do YOU guys think on this?
Well, I’m sure he’s going to get dropped but I doubt it’s happened yet since the label just released his EP yesterday.
star– you don’t think maybe the EP was the “second album” promised him by Clive, do you? *bites lip* I know a Remix of some kind was always a planned for thing, when the album was released.

It’s clear from the lack of label support over the last few months that he has been effectively dropped. At this point I wonder if it might not be better if he was actually dropped - that would at least free him up to self promote/find another label. The station’s response is more evidence of why he isn’t seeing radio play.
Theresa, does this happen to be Q102 in Philly? And was the DJ Jessie Jordan? She hates Blake and is very vocal about it.
If you go back and read one of my posts from ages ago I did mention that a second album was never promised, even if the contract says it is. There are many ways, as I stated then, that they get around this. They can do whatever they want with this and yes the EP would be considered a “2nd album” if the powers want it to be.
I’m not so sure that would be a bad thing. We know they weren’t the label for him after seeing what the first album hasn’t done….maybe it is time for another label to jump in and get this boy some more sales/tour etc.
Jenlar– I’ll know around lunchtime if my download was able to be completed. 2 HOURS it says. *sigh* (still at 35% with the Miscrosoft download too!) I am hating the satellite company, this week.
NBNN– All I can do for Blake is pray for him.:-( It makes me feel awful tho, I won’t lie.
Maybe it’s like newduck says, and some other label can step in soon, and find a way to capitalize on Blake’s attributes. Has to be a silver lining in all of this. He’s too talented for this.

Thanks for clarifying that information for us. If indeed the response came from Q102, I would not be surprised. My personal experience with them was not positive when I made requests for the songs. It is a big and influencial station but I am glad there are some other ones in the area.
I am looking forward to reading Blake’s blog and updates.

Two of the Remix songs are in the top 100 iTunes songs (for Dance). They are Dave Aude Radio Mix (at #18) and Jake Benson Radio Edit (at # 93). Those two seem to be the most popular.
