Seems like just yesterday the tour just got started doesn’t it?
It really does. I mean I know the end of the tour means the next chapter for all of them and we’ll be getting the CDs, but still. It will feel a little empty for a while.
I think that’s how I felt after the finale was over till the tour started. It’s sort of mixed emotions, you want the tour over so B can finish the CD, but it’s the memories that have been created from this tour through the videos mostly for me. I tried to save some of these youtube videos on my account over there so I’ll have something I can go back and watch whenever I want.
I know, it’s kind of bittersweet. You sure want the tour to be over with so Blake can start with his solo career and promote his major label debut BUT at the same time it’s like a chapter of his life is ending and all of his friends will be taking separate roads. I just hope their friendships last for a lifetime.
IMO Season 6 was the best group as a whole, everyone got along really well and it certainly looked like they care for each other very much.
I am gonna miss them.
On the other hand, I know all of us here will be happy following Blake’s successful music career . Can’t wait for that.
Exactly! This season really showed the best friendships. I can tell that they’ll last a lifetime. It just makes me sad to know that they’re all so so close and they’ll be going seperate ways and not seeing each other every day. :(
Excited for Blake’s career to begin and hoping his career really takes off! He is so excited for it & I want him to stay happy! I felt that emptiness after the show ended and I am so enjoying all of the tour news! It will be so quiet after the tour (for a while anyway - until the solo tour starts). I think there will be some lifelong friendships made from this season. I especially see it between Blake & Chris and Jordin & Melinda but I think most of them will stay close. What a wonderful lifetime experience for them!
I’m definitely going to be sad after the last show is done…but, it will be bittersweet because Blake will get to finish up his CD and get it out to us, his fans. But…I can’t go and get all teary-eyed because the tour is nearing it’s end…just 9 more shows until my second show in DC! Definitely going to be excited until the end of that show…then I’ll have the last 10 or so shows to watch on YouTube to cushion the blow of the end of the tour. Thank goodness I can save vids on YouTube to watch later! If I wasn’t able to do that, I really might go into withdrawal!

I’ll probably get teary-eyed when I am watching videos from that last show in NH. But we can’t think about that now! There’s still 20 shows of wonderfulness coming our way :)
Blake was amazing at the concert!!!! Everyone sounded great. I was sad when it ended b/c Blake wass gone :(
awwww Katie. I’m glad to finally hear a report from there. You are the first so far. It’s kind of bittersweet in a lot of ways. So glad you had a good time.

Yes it is. It’s even harder to believe that I *still* haven’t been to one… yet! They have played everywhere *but* Atlanta.
I’m sure that B needs some time to do what he wants before the solo album comes out. You know… hang with friends, work on some music, sleep a little, catch some live shows. Recharge a bit, although I doubt that he’ll rest much. He’s so devoted to his musical career. I’ll miss the daily updates to which we’ve all become accustomed, tho.

Last night I was showing the girls the MJ vids, and we were loving them…and talking about our own concert time. Both the girls said, how FAST the whole thing seemed to go–and how they wished they could’ve re-wound it to watch it again! LOL. I said I was wishing that, like all night long! Where’s the re-wind button?? LOL.
Even meeting Blake, it went so fast. We were laughing at some of the stuff that happened, and the whole “Do grandmas get hugs too??”/me teasing Blake thing…and yeah. It flew by. We have the memories of the fun day, and an awesome fast-paced show, but geez. Gone alllll too quickly.
I wonder if when they look back on the cities they’ve been to, if we are a blur for them, too. Maybe the whole tour is now, at this point, eh?

Not much in the review, did say that CRich was up there with B when it came to screams, but said his voice wasn’t as good as Blakes.
I would imagine the tour is a blur to them. They may have special memories of certain cities. I would think especially their “hometown” visit. Don’t forget B. and CRich are making a documentary so they can go back and look at it too! I’ll bet all the scrapbooks, etc. that fans have made for them are really special to them too. I saw someone give Phil a Cd/DVD of his AI journey and thought how wonderful that was! I’m so thankful for youtube!! That’s why we all need to ride the wave of life!

Sad but true. I hope they all are remembering these moments. They all do seem like such good friends.
Though I do think some have a chance of going on making it in the music bussiness, but to how much success…who knows? I do have high hopes for B though:)
Are the other idols free to sign with other record labels now, and if so are the allowed to say so? I know these questions have all been answered a thousand times over, but some how got lost on me:)

Just wondering how much truth there is to this comment. If it is true then CRich has more songs recorded than B. Of course this could be a demo he is making, which is my guess.
hey just thought i would tell you guys abouthis CD.Blakes album which was supposed 2 come out on November 20th, is Now coming out on November 13! The reason the date was changed because of Jordins CD which is coming out the 20th! So Blakes is coming out earlier
I think out of all of them, B is the only one who has potential to eventually go back playing in arenas in the future.
He is not going to go back to arenas instantly, but if everything goes as planned he could eventually. JMHO.
I really have a feeling he will make it BIG, if it strikes on Top 40 radio he will be the Daughtry of this year.
How do we know that Blake’s CD is coming out on Nov 13th? Is there any reliable source that announced this? I am excited, but I just want to make sure this is official.

But of course he will play on small and medium venues first. Look at Daughtry, that’s how he started.

Hehe… I didn’t know that was what Daughtry did. I guess that I never gave any of this any thought! Durrrr… haha! I only watched AI this season by accident… tuning in because the auditions were supposed to be funny… then I stayed for the Blake. I actually didn’t even know that Daughtry was from AI until somebody mentioned it on a Blake fansite. Heck… I didn’t even know who Daughtry was until a penpal who lives in the Middle East was raving about him! If you can tell, I’m definitely *not* a Top 40 girl!
Yes, it makes sense because you’ve got to be pretty established to tour arenas. *Hopes for Bshorty at the same small venue that I saw Nine Inch Nails play in the mid-90’s*
That’s just a rumor at this point. There is absolutely nothing out right now to back that date up. That is not confirmed. Let me put it this way, if that date had been confirmed, Pure Tone Music would have already had that info up on their site. LOL
Joy, I’m sorry to inform you but that is not confirmed.
That info came from Chris Rich’s official fansite so this is why we are skeptical. When I hear it from Ken Barnes or some other reliable industry source I’ll believe it. These release dates get changed numerous times. It’s happened with each and every season of Idol. No release date is set in stone for Jordin or Blake at this point.
Aw, I’d love if we got B’s album even earlier than we thought! It kinda makes sense too if he is further along on his than Jordin is on hers.
I’ll be the meanie and say I can’t wait for tour to end, cause then we are that much closer to a single and the album ^_^ They are all tied up in each other friendship-wise and by writing for each other so I don’t really see the Top 10 as going their separate ways forever.

I turned in a paper with the words Blake instead of Black. she understood that i had an obession (she saw me wear my blaker girl shirt and i wear my blaker girl pin everyday, but she deducted points for spelling.

hehehe, Butet, that’s pretty funny that you turned in papers with “blake” instead of “black” (I so just did the very thing we’re talking about!). Oh well, I’d take a point deduction for Blake any day, as long as I get to meet him! :-D
I think that’s been there for quite sometime now. I still see that myspace hasn’t fixed his login date after the page was taken down for maintenance late last week. That 7/8/2007 login date is still there. As far as the 11/13 date, I think that very unlikely at least for now. We will be lucky to see 11/20.
Well, If you don’t ask you won’t recieve. Blake wanted to sign the girls shirts and the only way to do this for them. The only way way to ask. I don’t blame him. You never know. IMO. The girls were pretty stupid for not bringing an appropriate pen if they wanted him to sign their shirts.
The Hartford video is good, the guys have really got to enjoy singing at the end of that song with Blake. The crowd is so pumped by the end of Blake’s set, the energy has to be amazing.
I always confuse black and Blake. :-P

Oh yeah..ill subsitute any word with Blake if i could get the chance to meet him.. Actually its gotten worse, now anything that starts with a BL i automaticly write Blake. which shows that this obession is getting outta hand.
Question: Ive read that Blake attended the University of Washington for a while. Anyone know wat was his major? i figured he left becuase he wanted to pursue his music career, but i was just curious about what his major was.
