Happy Birthday, Blake!

We’re not the only ones wishing Blake a happy birthday today! EW’s Michael Slezak siezed the opportunity to pimp Blake’s “underappreciated Audio Day Dream” and his favorite tune from the album, “Know My Name.”

I loved Michael’s blurb - it was especially nice that he pointed out the lack of support from Arista. Happy Birthday, Blake!

I’m glad that there are others out there who appreciate Blake’s music. It’s not bad if you give it a chance.

    Happy Birthday Blake!

Hope Blake has a wonderful birthday! Yeah for Micheal S. Thanks to everyone for the pictures and the links. I’m still having trouble with the magazine. After I flip the page & go to the next one it flips the first one back. :( does that make sense? So cool that he got on the cover though!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!!!!!

Slezak is right on in that article. Know My Name should have been the first single. Clive is the kiss of death. Maybe KMN can still be released somehow/someday.

Thanks for all the lovely pics and videos Jenlar! You are our supplier to our habit.

Michael Slezak always delivers where Blake is concerned. Thank you, Michael! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BLAKE!!!

EotW- “Wanna buy some death sticks?” (Sorry… too many pop culture references running through my head, like, CONSTANTLY!) Kirsten, Heather, and Sarah demonstrated the textbook example of how to do this street team thing. Funny how that happens once you work out the kinks, eh? We’re learning as we go, and the B.L.Army is very blessed to have members who are able to adapt, handle, and deliver. Modesto, KC, NY, NE, etc. have all had great teams. I will be sure to pass on everyone’s compliments to them.

Blake’s birthday card was delivered this morning at 11:00, exactly on schedule. Thanks again to all the friends, fans, and family who took the time to sign it (almost 200 messages!) It looks great. The people at GroupCard.com are impressed with it, too, and are excited about doing another one soon. Remember them for all the other Idol birthdays, too! They even approached us about featuring the card. Thanks to *everyone* for making it so much fun to be part of Blake’s fandom.

    Go Team Plaid!
    Go Blake! :clap_tb:

Michael Slezak is my hero too. That was a nice acknowledgement of Blake’s album. Who knows how things would turn out, if Blake got the right support.

But first of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!! Enjoy your special day with family and friends. Come back with some great news for your fans.

heh Jenlar. Death sticks. Do you mean cigarettes or the drug from Star Wars?

From Star Wars: Death sticks were a mild narcotic substance primarily sold on Outer Rim worlds. The extract offered euphoria in exchange for a horrific outcome, producing a twisted version of reality enhanced by bright colors. With each dose the user’s life was shortened, and the successive dosages took away larger chunks from a lifespan.

Thanks Jenlar, I’ll take some!!!!! :laugh_tb:

Hi Just a quick note. I left a message on the weekly blog about Blakes shows. Hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.

It’s really busy at work, so I won’t be on line a lot, but am thinking of you all and your awesome support. The tour will not be too far away and I’m excited about that. I am sure B and the band will put on a terrific show. Here at Westlake on Aug. 19th will also be great.

Also, I think Michael S. review was great and all the positive comments were too….

    Hugs, D

:O! Kasia, maybe blake heard some of us say we wanted to see his house :D that would be exciting.

That would be nice Theresa, indeed. I love looking at different interior design styles. My guess would be Blake’s would be modern style.

    another ADD experience :) :
so last night i got down the shore about 9:30 and we stopped at the wawa(wawa is like a mini mart) right outside of the campground we stay in. so just me and my mom get out of the car. and as soon as we walk into wawa 1,000 miles is playing :D so of course i scream and EVERYONE looks at me. :D my moms like WHAT?!?!? i said. oh nothing i just know this song. hehe :)

they also played 1,000 miles at the waterpark. so im guessing its the same station. but i have no clue what station. :question_ee:

  18. 18 Bully Jul 26th, 2008 at 11:25 am

    Yay! I love 1,000Miles! :-) I hope they keep on a-playin’ it.

Have a good time camping, Theresa!
