1. Do not post links to download Blake’s music for free (read: ILLEGALLY). Team Plaid’s goal is to support Blake, and downloading his music without paying for it is not supportive of Blake. We will delete posts that contain links to free downloads of Blake’s songs.
2. If you are the owner of a fansite for Blake, any other American Idol contestant, or any site in general, and would like to be added to our blogroll, please email us, and we will gladly add you. We would like to also be linked on your site in return. Any posts that blatantly “pimp” another site unrelated to the Team Plaid blog or any sites owned by its’ admins will be deleted. That is what our blogroll is for. Note: we have made the decision not to add myspace fan pages, because there are so many out there.
3. Please do not use original video provided by Team Plaid or its’ posters without the permission of the video owner and without giving proper credit to the owner. If you have a question about how to get in contact with the video owner, please email us at teamplaid@gmail.com, and we will put you in touch. We have no problems with sharing our videos, but we would like for the video owners to receive proper credit, especially if their work is made available for download by someone other than themselves.
4. Respect the opinions of your fellow posters. Everyone is entitled to their own viewpoint without being made to feel that it is inferior or incorrect. Please do not make generalizations about groups of people, including other fanbases.
5. Criticism of Blake is allowed here. Please don’t gang up, chastise, or tell other posters that they are not a “true fan” if they post something critical. Posts that are chastising, condescending, or finger-wagging in nature will be edited or deleted. We want stimulating, intelligent conversation, not bitter, back-biting arguments and fanwars.
6. That said, any drive-by posts that are obviously meant to stir the pot WILL be deleted.
7. Stay on the topic of the blog entry you’re responding to.
8. Please don’t belabor a point. Make your point and move on. This includes posting the same thought in multiple threads. Repetitive posts of this nature will be deleted.
9. No street-teaming. Please feel free to post articles about Blake for discussion purposes, but do not post an article or review that is critical of Blake as a call-to-arms for other posters to reply to it, or to email the author or reviewer.
10. Profanity is allowed; however, any posts that are sexually explicit in nature will be deleted.
11. Sharing information found on other sites is welcomed and appreciated, however we ask that you please use good judgement when doing so. DO share links to articles, videos, etc. DO credit your source when posting pictures and/or videos. DO NOT post the opinions/speculation of so-and-so on whateversite. DO NOT post the opinions/speculation of Team Plaid members on other sites. DO NOT copy and paste entire recaps from other sites and post them here.
