Here is the latest in the “Going to Hollywood” video saga that Blake’s friends have going on. These pics are from their last trip to Hollywood to see Blake perform, during the real top 6 week, the week of Idol Gives Back. There are some great pics in this montage. You’ll recognize some of them. :)

I love the pics of Blake in the recording studio in his socks.

I caught Randy Jackson on Conan last night…they talked a little about Idol and Randy said he likes to call the remaining finalists “Blake and his Dreamgirls.” :) He also named the top 3 as Blake, Jordin, and Melinda, and said that he thinks a girl will win. I hope we can prove him wrong!!

I just saw this posted on TWOP and thought it was cool:

Kelly Clarkson gets it, y’all! She was on my local radio station (in Detroit) this morning, and because I snoozed my alarm a couple of times I just happened to hear her entire interview. I’m a big fan of hers, so I was already happy.

Then at one point they asked her if she watches the current AI season, and who she likes. She said “I like Jordin” (and that was that) “and Blake, the beatboxing guy.”

The male DJ immediately asked her if she liked his “[superlative word I can’t recall because I was so anticipating Kelly’s response] rendition of You Give Love a Bad Name this week. She was quite enthusiastic. She said that she’s a huge Bon Jovi fan and she was a little worried that he was going to “ruin it” but that she thought he was amazing. Again, I can’t recall her actual words, but I was happy to hear her gushing about Blake on a major morning show!

I love Cisco…gotta love the fun pics! As far as the Randy comment Star, he was wrong about Blake before and he is wrong again…Blake is going to win again. Even he has it right in his mind…it is BLAKE (and his dreamgirls) right??? Whoo Haaa!!!

Regarding Randy’s comments, I wish he would just shut up already. He’s been saying that since the beginning of the season. It was annoying then, and it’s annoying now. Anyways, if he knows what’s good for the show, he needs to start pimping Blake. The final 2 would be so much fun with Blake in it. Melinda/Jordin finale = Boring.

Jenlar, thanks! You rock for that! I need to learn how to take stuff from the dvr and put it on the computer. I’ve been saying that for ages. LOL.

I wouldn’t worry about Randy. No one listens to him, anyhoo.

I really think we are at a point where EVERYTHING depends on performance. Of the four left, I think Blake and Melinda are the most consistant. So, there’s that.

Yeah, Randy needs to leave it alone. The nickname is cute, and quite Blake pimpin’. At this point, any competition between the remaining contestants that *doesn’t* include Blake will be boring. That’s not to say that the divas aren’t wonderful performers, but I just don’t go for that type of music. Who wants to see three similar artists try to outsing each other? Having someone like Blake in the competition makes everyone bring their best and take some risks.

pj- You’re quite welcome. Depending on the type of DVR you are using, maybe we can figure it out together. I keep missing stuff, so the more clippers/cappers out there, the better!

Wow - so I have DVR, but had no idea I could get stuff off of it onto the computer. Me = computer idiot. I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

I don’t want to drift off-subject (it’s such a *wonderful* subject! /fangirl) but if anyone has links to interesting clips from Idol Tonight or Idol Chat, I need them. Somehow we’ve lost access to TV Guide channel when they moved to a different spot on the dial.

Blake and Chris on tour together… let’s just hope that their blogs have been given back to them by then!

The look on all the guy’s faces said it all. They were probably thinking we are doomed. Heh.

I remember that Top 24 night so dearly. HE sang so well and I was so impressed. That has been one of my favorite Blake outfits. He looked like Prince Charming with that sweater vest and pink shirt.

Can anyone tell me where can I get an mp3 of Blake singing “Somewhere Only We Know?” It’s not available on AI.com.
I want it for my ipod. Thanks!

RollTide! Thanks for the link! It *was* brave of him to admit that he uses software because so many people don’t understand that it’s perfectly acceptable. Would they have a problem if he sat with a guitar or keyboard while he arranged the song? Of course not. Sounds like a bad case of sour grapes for the fans of the voted-off contestants.

So anyway, GO BLAKE! GO TEAM PLAID!
