well, since there are no comments yet…I guess I’ll start the conversation….hmmmmmm? Just curious, is anybody going to go check out Blake in PA? I wish I was but can’t get off work on that day:( Its cool though I’ve got to see him a few times already and I’m sure there will be others. Anyways, If your going, please let us know how it goes, I’d love to read on it!!!

I agree pj. Paula really screwed over poor Jason last night. Can’t imagine what it was like for him trying to sing after her retarded comments. Hope he is safe tonight.

Anyways, back to Blake. Saw this posted over at BLMM. Sounds like a good idea.

WOW– Just in after running around all afternoon, and so this news is a surprise! :-D I think I felt a swell of pride there, when I read the listing of all the fansites, and members from OtherPlacesOtherTimes joining together to help our Boy. Gosh, this is really amazing. My heart is aching, right now.

I don;t know if I’m leader material, but I certainly want to help. I applaud so much the verbage that Barbariba used, in the letter of solicitation/disclosure. Whomever is involved in the leadership capacity needs to be trustworthy, and to be willing to protect Blake and his privacy.

BigD–this was really wonderful of you to help put together. I hope somehow, our efforts will be a help. You know that’s why we try.

I hope that Paula didn’t hurt Jason’s chances too much last night. Poor kid… I loved both his songs and he’s been a consistent player since he sang on Top 24 night.

Bully- Whether you’re in BLArmy leadership or not there is still *plenty* of work for everyone. You are already doing a great job of forwarding the links and ideas that are out there. The ideas are already *good*. We just need to get these great ideas streamlined and organized. Trust me… I’ll be bugging you on myspace *plenty*!

hi guys i haven’t posted for awhile but trust me i’ve been wondering around reading here everyday :) i have a few questions though.

    1. just to get an idea, how much money do u guys think we’re talking here for pretty close up tickets to blake’s tour concerts?

    2. Has there been any chatter about the How Many Words MV yet? * anxiousley awaits* :D

Great ideas on how to get blake up and going laddies keep up the good thinking :) hope all this work pays off.

    pj,

After hearing the interview Paula did with Seacrest this morning, I just don’t buy her explanation especially after it was announced at the top of the show last night that the critiques were not going to take place until after each contestant finished their 2nd song. I don’t know why it was such a surprise to her. She’s just trying to cover her hide.

    jenlar,

I love the idea of BLArmy. It’s worth a try. :)

    *hugs Jenlar*

I still have some optimism and tenacity to burn. Sometimes you just have to be willing to shake the tree to get the apples down.:-)
    I’m trying, anyway!

*Request at XM Fans tonite everybody– no spin at all today.

    Christina,
I am going to see the show in Pa with the rest of my family. So, if I have pictures from the show, I will definitely share with Team Plaid. :smile_wp:

I am glad that there might be finally a centralized street team site. It is a great idea that Dallas and Blake will be behind that as well as; it will make the efforts more credible and more effective. I have thought that this is what was missing since Blaker Girls site became less active in recent months. It is good to hear that promotion of Blake’s music seems to be the primary focus driving the formation of a central site. :thumbup_tb:

BLarmy sounds GREAT! Everyone sounds motivated, it has been endorsed by Blake and Dallas, and it seems like there are some numbers behind this.

    GO BLAKE!

BTW, watched a bit of idol last night, and remembered that top 5 night (or top 6 night as it was) was when Blake did YGLABN. Go watch the Youtube clip and celebrate!

Can’t believe its been a year already.

Streamlining and organizing all the great ideas is a positive and supportive way to promote Blake’s music. I’m looking forward to enlisting in the BLArmy.

I think what would really help Blake right now is to do video blogs or at least put some sort of personal media out there. He’s losing that connection with the fans and could definitely rope people in by showing the real him. Not the “radio show” or “talk show” Blake. I say even a blog on MySpace would help right now!

I think he needs to do that in addition to what has been suggested. I think fans (and this I think is understandable) that don’t hear from the favorite much will easily tend to drift of to something else if that communication is broken. A blog would definitely help! I agree!

I agree Pam that blog or bulletin would help to keep connecting with fans that are already on his myspace. I think updating his myspace with the upcoming appearances would also make people look forward to seeing him during those concerts. Whatever form Blake can communicate periodically: new pictures, a video, blog, would rally his fans.

    Kasia,

I couldn’t agree more! Keeping that connection with them is essential. :)

  16. 16 Bully May 1st, 2008 at 8:22 am

Pam– I so agree. Without connection of some sort, people do drift away. Unrequited love sucks. (and with no news, people go to where they feel some is)

BLarmy project…sounds good! just as long as they “unify” all the fan websites The Blakers girls, the ADD train, etc…we need the fans to become a tidalwave or better yet, a SUMANI of support!
