The tickets are supposed to be available on the station wbesite. But I think they will be available starting Monday. I also got a response from the place where the concert will be and the girl who sent me the email said that the tickets can be also purchased on ticketweb. I do not think they are listed yet. I will let you know if I hear more.
I was doing some Mediabase station requests this evening. Of course, for some reason we started noticing last night that the spin count isn’t showing up on the forms. I don’t know what is with that. You can tell if it is a station’s actual playlist and not the generic one (which has at least 9 Rihanna songs on it, as well as several by Akon).
The WSPK station is a bit different in some of the others in that it has both BA and HMW on it. I think that is pretty cool. This is the same station hosting K-Fest.
Also, I think someone at Team Blake dropped the ball in not submitting an MP3 to them of HMW. His is the only song for which you can’t play a sample of from the Mediabase request forms. I hate seeing the blinking speaker symbol for everything but his song. :o(

Marcia - I hope that you get to listen to it. The DJ introduced it as a new fan since AI, lol. But, as soon as he said Marcia, Blake instantly said it was his Aunt. It was a great question! And, it was my impression that his favorite was AI Extra because it was his being a one-man band. He talked about how he’s always changing up the song.
On the xm 20 ballot can we vote often back to back even. I hope so or mine are invalid.

Hi AuntMarcia– Yup, the DJ was all like, “somehow she found out that you were going to be here today…and we only found out yesterday ourselves!” or some such. heh. It was great how Blake knew it had to be you, and said, Yeah! My Aunt! :-)

Thanks for the info guys - (although it would have probably helped Blake more if he had assumed it was a hot woman he met on the plane!). I do think this might be a way to get a few music related questions asked of Blake. To me it would be OK to email the DJ’s when he is going to be on and tell them we are fans and would love to know …

Yes, they did play HMW. The DJ said he actually preferred BA, because of all that Blake put of himself and his skills into it, but they played HMW, and the DJ was nice.

I go by what they say at the top of the ballot, to wait 5 mins. Now, maybe you can do some searching on the net to find out if that might be different.
Sadly, I see some spin loss today. :o( But, the Tucson station is in the format starters.

I saw the spin loss and it’s more so today than any other time. It had been by -3 or -4 at times, but it’s in the double digits today. I didn’t notice the Tucson format starter till I saw your post.
Blake will be at FLY Summer Jam Saturday, June 21st. :) If this has been posted, I apologize.
I think it’s a great idea for us to email questions to the DJ’s that he will be sitting with. Does anyone else think it’s a good thing that he is lunching/dinnering with the station peeps also. I think he is building some pretty good connections. Even if it doesn’t work for HMW, can we hope KMN or CD #2 will have a better chance.

I agree! It can’t hurt him to make some friends at these stations. I’d like to think that some of that will go beyond just the visit. Just like the producers and musicians he worked with on ADD, he’s laying some good groundwork for the future. Maybe it won’t all come thru right now, but I think it will help him in the long run.

No. That is the site where you can request them to play the song at any time. Here is the 20 on 20 voting site. It says every 5 minutes, but it doesn’t seem to make you wait the 5 minutes before you vote again.
