Well, even if the label didn’t want to pay for a tour, I do think Blake needs to work it out on his own to do one. It would be a good way to reach more people and build up support. And of course, it’s good for us fans too!

Hey guys…. guess what happened at school!
Ok we were doing this thing called DRIVE and this police guy was askign us what we wanted to be when we grow up I told him I wanted to be a singer, he made me stand in front of the class and sing, I asked my friend what I should sing she said HMW so I did and everyone thought I was really good (and I advertised blake at the same time) The police man said I had a gift. (I was very much shocked, my voice isn’t that good?)

I think they are doing the whole “win it before you can buy it” thing.
Looks like a very short set by B if he is sharing the one hour before the main band with One Tree Hill though.
One more thing. You can go to pollstar.com and register to have emails sent to you when they add any information about any act. They keep track of tours and such and they have added Blake as an artist. They don’t have any tour info yet, but that is a good sign. He wasn’t on there last time I checked.
Hmmm….anyone else considering going to the Harrisburg show? It’s about 5 hours for me, but I might be able to combine it with something else I have to do. But, if it is only 30 mins., 5 hours is really too far. If he could come to Pittsburgh or Columbus (or even Cleveland or Cincinnati), it would be a lot easier for me.

I am possibly going to this with my daughter. I want clarification of the times though. Their regular website says the first two acts (B and Vogel) are from 7-9, but mypsace says it starts at 9 and the main act is on at 10.
Actually, not in Harrisburg, now that I look a little deeper. It’s in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Less than 2 hours for me. I can do that.

I noticed that too that it was to start at 7pm. I will try to call the radio in the morning during the show to see if I get any information.
That would be wonderful if Team Plaid posters could be there to support Blake.

I am working on it. And you ladies are helping out with all that information.
I am actually listening to the radio right now and it looks like they are bringing Blake’s name a lot. There are still 3 weeks and I hope they will play his song a lot, and not only at night.
This looks like good news today. I’m in the camp that believes that Blake will have a long and satisfying career in music — but he has hard work ahead of him. I choose to view K-Fest and the Pennsylvania show as a sign that hope still lives. It’s great that some Team Plaiders will get to go. The pics and recaps will be awesome!

stop doubting yourself!..you have to believe you are good and be positive…I suggested to get voice lessons to learn the correct breathing tecHniques, etc needed to hold notes and bring volume…you can carry a note but you need to develop and learn timing…if you love singing so much, be positive ,..your failure will be that you never tried..so follow your dream and just go for it..

Thanks so much you guys!! I love singign, I’ve been singing since I was 2 years old I was in choir for 3 years, Joyce I’d love to get voice lessons, but I don’t know how expensive they are… (and right now my family Ain’t doing to well on money like cuz I’ve been living off 2 pairs of jeans for like the last month….) bully the hardest part for me when singing in front of a crowd is when istart a sog, once I get started and into the flow I’m fine. but when I started singing I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest is was beatign so fast.)

so tomorrow it will have been about a week since my last massive email HMW request, so I’ll probably send out some more requests to my radio station. hopefully they will listen for once!!
Also, I’ve got a question, if anyone knows and could help me out, that would be awesome!! Are there any Blake posters?? Like actual full sized posters to put in your room. Because I’ve gone to all the poster sites I could find, and none of them have any Blake Lewis posters!! I would really like one!!! There aren’t any at americanidol.com although there are posters of this current season. Still I would really like one, so if anyone knows anything about Blake posters, please let me know!! thanks
A litte new information about PA concert. I called the DJ from the Harrisburg station and he told me that the tickets to the concert in Pa can be purchased on line, on the station wbesite. I cannot locate them. Either they did not post the link yet, or I somehow miss the section of the website where tickets can be purchased. If anyone would like to check to see if they have better luck with it, the website of the radio station is 993kissfm.com.
