WHOA…I’m listening to my station…remember I requested HMW’S…they didn’t have it so I had to settle for Marron 5…that was a week ago when I requested HMW..BUT I just heard myself on the radio because they didn’t have HMW, I received a $50.00 gift card (I’ll use if for dog food since that’s not my normal grocer)..that was ONE WEEK AGO!.bad point…they deleted my request for HMW but aired my request for Marron 5…but the whole point, they keep these recordings and if you are lucky enough for the DJ to play your song, it may not happened immediately so mayble the requests are not in vain… so I’m inspired to keep trying to get his song played here in Philly!

Other than that, I got nothing to say except have a beautiful Friday y’all.
Hey Joyce are you going to GMA?
They don’t have much information on their website about the GMA concert series, but I did find this page. Nothing is filled out in the calendar, but there is a little blurb at the bottom with an asterisk that says the concert is free. Sounds like you just go and get in line. Hope this helps.

I’m seriously thinking about going…do we have the time he would appear????because I would have to leave my house by 5 AM or 6 AM depending on his appearance since GMA airs from 7 am to 9 am…its takes me 2 hrs to get there……
I’m on the other side of the country but I think they usually perform fairly early, don’t they? Are these outside?
GMA studio is located at 43rd and 7th Ave (Broadway) and I assume they let a few inside since that’s what I’ve seen watching previous shows..I would love to be there..it would be cool to be so close..it would be like having a private concert! hearts..
Guys I wouldn’t wait until right when they are to start to get there. I would assume an earlier arrival would be prudent.
I’ve been to lots of GMA concert appearances. I’ll assume Blake will be inside, if that’s the case put a ticket request in on the website (they may have stopped using tix but play it safe) and also get there at least 6:30. They definitely require an early arrival. The studio is REALLY tiny and there aren’t seats, you have to stand and they cram as many people in as they can.

I just emailed them..hopefully they’ll respond…well, I would have to get up early..ugh..I went to the concert here ..didn’t have a good seat so this would be kinda neat plus I could make it a day up there, do some shopping and maybe do a 1/2 ticket to a Broadway show..so let’s see if GMA responds…
I was referring to the AI concert where I saw BLake where I didn’t have a good seat..I emaled them for a ticket so we’ll see…maybe I could catch him roaming the streets in NY who knows…
HMW is showing up on WIHT’s playlist. It’s at 103, but hopefully it will move up. At least it is on the list!

Crystal J. Oh I know, when I read the letter I was jumping up and down. But once I realized when it was I frowned. 1. I only get tickets to the show not a plane ticket, so money is an issue, I’d as my parents, but they don’t want to encourage my Blake fascination. 2. I have previous arrangements with some White House peoples. So I think, though I love Idol and meeting Blake (if he is there), I’d rather meet Homeland Security, Micheal Chertoff and give him my two cents and possibly change something in that, well let me not continue that statement.
Dani, Oh I wish I could have mailed you the tickets. But I personally have to claim them and present ID or something. So unless you look like me, and is 20 years old I don’t think you can get them.. But Sorry!
Don’t forget to be requesting the song on the Fox All Access program. It runs on several stations nationwide on Sunday mornings. I think it’d be a great opportunity to get some exposure for the song.

Thats ok…. I have school and stuff so it’d be hard for me to go… als my mom woul;d be like how on earth did you get tickets…. actually funny thing is I’m 13 but alot of people have mistaken me for a 17 year old (that without makeup) because I’m tall… and I’m a bit… figury for my age… with makeup on I’ve been mistaken to be from 18 -20 years old (weird huh?)

I think you should go. We have a great chance of getting in if we’re there early. I plan on getting there around 5:30 just to be safe. I hear they pick people off the street sometimes, I don’t think there will be many people. Also there is a waiting area where you can see/hear the performance through glass so thats pretty worth it even if we don’t get in. I emailed them yesterday, I’m still waiting for a confirmation email. I really hope I get in! You can also wait next to the exit doors for a chance to meet him. I want to give him something, any ideas guys??
Here are the Mediabse stats for this morning. HMW has made a pretty good move up. :)
WVYB in Daytona Beach, FL showed up in the format starters for the first time. That was one of the stations where Blake did promo last week. :)
WSSX showed up on Yes last night. That is the Charleston station he did promo at as well. Glad to see some of the promo is working.
Crystal I noticed WSSX too. That was very good to see. :)
There was a Kansas City station also that played it yesterday. I looked it up on All Access and it is a pretty big station. It is ranked 29th. He is getting some pretty good stations. WIHT is #8 in the country, so hopefully they will start playing it since they think it is “HOT Pick”.
He did have a pretty nice jump last night on mediabase. :)

I don’t really put too much stock in that hot picks list anymore since Z100 had BA on their list and never played it. lol I would love to see WIHT play the song again. WIHT is one of the stations monitored on YES as well as Mediabase. :) They played it while he was there for the visit and then it got an additional spin. I will get excited if I see it pop back up on the format starters again and even the yes site and it starts picking up additional spins. I’m watching closely to see if the Kansas City station pops back up again. I was glad to see that yesterday. :)

I plan on going but I can’t make it by 5:30 AM heavens…I calculating since its really early, I might not hit traffic so most likely I’ll leave here at 5 AM and arrive at GMA by 7 AM…if i don’t get in, I’ll be outside watching..I’m planning on bringing a laminated sign..saying “Philly supports Blakes music”……something like that..so if I’m not inside, they can see my sign from the window..plus I’ll lurk outside for a while in hopes of catching him..since the stores won’t open until 10..I’m feeling like a teenager again BUT I will make a day of my escapee from work worthwhile.
oh and I did email for tickets for that day..so if I’m late, maybe I’ll still get in..who knows, its worth a shot
