   Hola everybody!

   The countdown is starting in about half an hours’ time, I’ll be back later to keep you guys updated! In the meantime, I’m voting my fingers off, and let’s hope it works some magic!

   Break Anotha is up to 22 spins on Mediabase and is at 151. It also has a little red arrow. How Many Words still has no additional spins. Hopefully this week.

   Yay!!! Vanessa. Thanks for keeping us updated and also for voting your little fingers off! Do you know any other Blakers there? Sounds like there might be more than just a few. I’d love to see it go to #1.

   I’m assuming the #3 refers to his fans voting for him on the radio..does anyone know if this is correlating to CD sales… the impact of CD sales would be fabulous…would love to hear Clive say “and here is our #1 selling artist.. Blake.” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Do you know any other Blakers there? Sounds like there might be more than just a few.

   With a little help from facebook, I managed to hunt down some Blakers :) It’s kind of disheartening to see that no one/very few are responding to my messages or wall posts. Well, I hope that changes over time.

   I’m sure BA can take over the #2 spot from Sara Bareilles. The Jonas Brothers are our main competition. Man, they’ve taken the #1 for way too long! Need to make it happen, BA needs to be at #1!

   Yes, as far as I know, this countdown is based solely on votes. The other (top 20) one that I posted about in the previous post (BA was #18), is based on airplay, votes and record sales. The fact that it jumped straight into the charts at #18 must tell something :) I will go and check it out at the store when I get the time to.

    Thanks Vanessa..I’m not computer savvy like some of you otherwise I would to the search myself..I would like to se a hugh sale of CD’s..right now his total is somewhere in the vicinity of 256,000 would like to reach a “platinum” status…but I’ll take at least another 100,000…

    This is really good news. But, I haven’t even heard Blake on any of my radio stations. I’m glad some of you have. Here’s hoping “How Many Words” gets some airplay.

    I was driving in the car, and this new song came on the radio– Linkin Park, “Shadow of the Day”. I kept thinking how great Blake would sing that song…and pretty soon, I didn;t have any trouble at all in imagining him doing so! “Blake-ized” again!:-) Maybe you all will hear what i mean too!

    I always thought Blake would do a great My December by LP. I could so see him bboxing the second verse where the beats come in and looping the vocals and beats.

    The first time I heard that song, I thought it had the ‘With Or Without You’ (U2) vibe, and I totally pictured Blake singing it.
