I am the same way although I don’t mind him and Haley, I don’t see how it’ll work out especially after the show when everyone is doing their own projects.

Haley had to head back to Nashville yesterday. That is why she was not there. In any case, Blake looks great in the new pics, although I prefer the suit he had on at Clive’s party, as opposed to the one he had on last night.
Alright, onto the real news….that frog song! OMG, I had it in my head all morning, and I saw the video on YouTube….that scared the shit out me.
Oh, and put me in the boat with those fans who say that they hope a vid surfaces soon of him beatboxing with Doug E. Fresh at the Roots party!
I found a not-nice comment about how someone thought Blake looked, and I have to say, it hurt my feelings. You think you know somebody, you know? Fandom is harsh…I don’t like the twisting nature of it at all. Anybody else having a hard time, resolving feelings with ex-fans?
ETA: Me too, Paula. Hoping for video from the roots party, it would be great.:-)

I don’t take the negative comments too seriously. I’m well aware of the fact that Blake doesn’t appeal to everyone, or has probably lost a few fans along the way just like ANY Idol contestant (or musical artist in general). As long as you support B, that’s all that should matter. I have to be honest, the Blake bashing doesn’t bother me so much since it’s expected and I’ve already gone through this with other Idols I like before B came along.
Okay so I called into my local radio station today and requested How Many Words, and after a little discussion about the Disc Jockey’s favorite song from ADD, he said that he would try to play it. I am so excited!!! I’ve been listening, I can’t wait to hear it!!!

Nic has a good point here. Your support and I would even say “our” support is what counts. As time has gone on, I’ve seen some of this too and after a while, I think it gets to a certain point where if you see it enough of it that it won’t really surprise you anymore. Some of those people, and of course this is JMO, may have not been diehard fans and now it has become evident with some of the comments that we see on occasion at different places. Some of these people want the Blake back they saw on AI and as I believe it was LD who said this last week, that’s not really who Blake was to begin with and also it could even be that some folks are unhappy that his CD did not contain more of his pre-AI music. Who really knows? This kind of thing happens in all fandoms not just this one.

Good find. I haven’t ever heard of Free Radio. The TV Guide description says, “An improv comedy about a dim-witted morning-radio host who interviews celebrity guests.” It looks like Blake will be on one episode that airs a few nights in a row. See the schedule here. Does anyone know anything about this show? Has this been discussed before? It’s new to me!

Bully I can’t speak about ex-fans because because well, I don’t know any of them. I do know that everyone has an opinion, negative or postive about something or someone. Such is life. You should read some of the comments that are left on some Justin Timberlakes You Tube videos…they can be pretty nasty.
Anyway, I know I like Blake. Thought he looked great, as did eveyone else on this site. So that is good enough for me:)
Hmm when did Haley go back to Nashville? Because he’s been going to events since Friday it seems and I don’t recall hearing anything official about her going to any of these other things or at least she wasn’t photographed. He does look super hot with Ginger though. Yum. I’m all for Team Ginger.

Got this very *SQUEE* worthy update from PHJ with the title “Ugly Guzzler at the grocery store hangout”. Hee! What he is basically saying without showing the whole email is that March 3rd is supposed to be the start the promo tour and that the actual “tour” will start sometime in April. He said there would be more details later. If anyone wants the entire email from me and you have myspace, I will be glad to send it to you. :)
I too get hurt when I read some of the negative comments on “other places” especially when there is no reason for some of the comments except to stir people up. I avoid the really negative sites because I don’t think they are “fans” giving constructive criticism. They bash anyone who is liked by the fans. We are all going to disagree with some aspect of B and his career but if it’s positive criticism,I’m OK with that.

It’s been some time off the road so the stories have been minimal and I apologize about that. I will tell you that we are going back on the road starting March 3rd! The Break Anotha single is done with finally and we are moving on to the next single which is “How Many Words”! I like this song quite a bit so I’m glad we’ll be doing our 30 million television shows a week playing it. So….Another promo tour which is going to piggy back us into a “regular” tour schedule. Very very exciting. It looks like everyone still likes us and things are going well so I guess we should be appreciative of this time off.
We will probably be hitting “real” tour by april or so and that means coming to a town near you! Yayyyyyyy……….!
So there’s that update. I will let you know when I know more. For now, I’m going to visit the family and eat some sushi.
FYI- My band is playing Nectar in Fremont tomorrow night (Tuesday 12th) in Seattle @ 9pm. You should come and feed those ugly guzzlers with liquid dietary supplements.

YAY!!! More promo tour and then official tour inApril. I think the important part is where he says everyone still likes them and things are going well. Can’t wait for promo tour to start. That may be why HMW hasn’t been shown on the Kimmel site.

Nic– I wish I had your thicker skin! It would serve me well in life! ;-) Being able to let things slide off more would be welcome relief. I must remember like you and Pam and Anne and others no doubt will say, that it will happen. It just aggreives me. I feel those tiny arrows sometimes.

Blake started going to Grammy parties on Saturday, not Friday. Haley was in Los Angeles on Friday (doing a shoot that day) & Saturday, but on Saturday, she was working as a reporter for performanceboats.com at the Los Angeles Boat Show until well after 9pm. Blake was already at the party by then. Haley headed back to Nashville yesterday, for she had to be back there today.
