    Drats, no cable here.

Yeah, Blake, Daughtry and Taylor all have Pete.

  2. 152 Sarah Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:13 pm

I haven’t heard them mention Blake yet, but they play a clip of one of his songs every time they go to commercial. I’ve heard BA and WG2L so far. For Carrie’s week of release, they mostly used “Flat on the Floor”. I don’t remember what I heard for Jordin.

  3. 153 Bouffe Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:13 pm

    WYG2L and BA on MNF????

Damn, don’t tell me I’ll have to start watching football…. Why can’t they play those songs during hockey games? THAT would be awesome!!! *LOL*

Oh, that’s great for Blake! I’m happy!

  4. 154 DJ Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:15 pm

Spouse doesn’t understand why I want to watch football tonight… :devil_tb: just heard BA

  5. 155 joyce Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:16 pm

I too heard it..3 x’s..the last snippet..you could definitely hear “break anotha” but no mention as of yet that its Blake…

  6. 156 Lisa Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:18 pm

If Carrie, Jordin, Chris and now Blake all had songs used it might be something 19E worked out for them.

  7. 157 Pam Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:20 pm

I don’t watch football either but I guess I have an excuse now. LOL

Spouse doesn’t understand why I want to watch football tonight… :devil_tb: just heard BA

    DJ,

What spouse doesn’t know won’t hurt him. LOL

  8. 158 Bouffe Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:29 pm

I freaking love Cisco. Did you guys see his latest video? Bob Bobberson the Pop Tart Ninja?

I am litterally DYING here. *ROTFLMAO*!!!!!

  9. 159 Sarah Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:38 pm

Lisa, that’s what I’m thinking. Still, a great gig for them! Good promo, and most likely, to a different audience than normal.

  10. 160 Bouffe Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:44 pm

Ugh? Where did my post disappeared to???

  11. 161 pj Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:47 pm

Posts with links sometimes go to spam. I have taken care of it. :)

  12. 162 Crystal J. Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:49 pm

I can watch some football on occasion - grew up in Ohio, loving it. But I have to like one of the teams. Ughh, the Falcons and the Saints. Don’t care for either. So naturally, I turned it on and no Blake into my first commercial set. Darn.

  13. 163 Bouffe Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:51 pm

Oh, thanks pj, I was wondering what was going on! :)

  14. 164 Michelle Dec 10th, 2007 at 10:54 pm

Same here Crystal…I can stay sort of interested tonight cause Brees used to play for SD :) Jordin’s snippets stopped playing before halftime I think, so you can probably quit soon ;)

  15. 165 Crystal J. Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:12 pm

“How Many Words” is up to #97.

The album is still at #6 at iTunes.

    Amazon #24

    B & N #27

  16. 166 Pam Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:17 pm

    Amazon #24

That’s awesome Crystal! It was #27 on Amazon when I checked it earlier.

  17. 167 joyce Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:22 pm

wwOW..they are giving his some airtime….the announcers were talking about him..I just want his CD to kick ass!

  18. 168 Michelle Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:23 pm

Oh never mind, they just did a little first half highlight vid to Break Anotha and chatted about Blake when they came back to the game after halftime. They mentioned he was the beatbox guy who came second to Jordin :P

  19. 169 Sarah Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:23 pm

They finally talk about him on MNF and come off sounding like jellus h8rs? A distant second, if the vote totals were released? :rolleyes_wp: Whatever.

I knew I liked John Madden and Al Michaels better.

  20. 170 Crystal J. Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:24 pm

Well, the one guy talked like he knew about Idol, since he said Jordin, and not her last name. And, yeah, distant second, WTF? Talking about some dude Guy Lewis?

Someone better get their money back that paid for that promo.

  21. 171 Crystal J. Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:28 pm

Yeah Sarah - Madden and Michaels kicked ass on announcing. I never cared for the Raiders at all, but Madden as an announcer definitely knew his stuff.

Now, I’m hating on these two guys, whoever the hell they are.

  22. 172 Pam Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:29 pm

As far as the votes go, I had heard there was only about a 4% difference in the final results and if that’s true, then I wouldn’t call that distant but anyhoo, I’m just happy that B got to make and release the CD he has worked so hard on for so many years.

I do agree with you Crystal, whoever paid for that promo does deserve a refund.

  23. 173 Crystal J. Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:31 pm

    …or at least a partial refund! ;o)

  24. 174 DJ Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:33 pm

Spouse just figured it out…. :rolleyes_wp:….They did show Blakes Name and Audio Day Dream was on the screen for a second or two…They commented he was the artist for the night or week on Monday Night Football…it was all good until that Bozo made his dumb comment… :)

  25. 175 Sarah Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:34 pm

Crystal, I hate most football announcers, except John Madden, Al Michaels, James Brown, and Chris Berman. And I’m still pissed that MNF was moved to ESPN, and that the NFL is being greedy and only broadcasting some big games on the NFL Network.

(sorry, football is my other passion. Loving AI + loving football = not your typical girl. LOL)

Back to AI: About a 4% vote difference - I wouldn’t rely on that. They rarely release the differential, and if they did, it wouldn’t come by word of mouth. It’d come in an article or something.

  26. 176 Bouffe Dec 10th, 2007 at 11:56 pm

Bwah! Hubby just finally told me they were talking about Blake on MNF. *LOL* He repeated everything to me, so he was paying attention. And he didn’t even call me down! I guess he didn’t really want me to be all fangirly in front of him. *LOL*

  27. 177 Pam Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:00 am

I guess he didn’t really want me to be all fangirly in front of him. *LOL*

Sounds a tiny bit jealous to me. LOL

  28. 178 Crystal J. Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:02 am

I see Sarah. Football was a passion of mine growing up - my town always had the State Champions in Ohio. Loved the Browns, until I moved to DC and couldn’t see their games. Obnoxious Redskins fans had me hating on them. I couldn’t root for the Ravens because I was furious over how they were stolen from Cleveland. I was also p**d at OSU for firing Earle Bruce. Sooooo…..lots to get over. I’ve finally started showing the teensiest bit of interest lately.

Hey - got a couple more plays of BA! It really does fit football. Maybe at the end they can play a clip of “Surrender,” lol!

  29. 179 pj Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:07 am

I hated football when I was in college. It was TOO much. I love it again now that I’m a bit removed. Roll Tide! LOL.

I’m glad the promo is going… yay!

  30. 180 Sarah Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:17 am

I’ve never had a “hometown” professional football team to cheer for, so to speak. But my family is from SE Tennessee originally, so I am, of course, a Volunteer. I’ll cheer for just about any SEC team though, unless they’re playing Tennessee. :) *hums Rocky Top*

So, to that extent, I of course cheer for the Colts because of Peyton Manning (and no I’m not a bandwagon fan lol. I loved them even when they kept choking in the playoffs lol). But I also like the Cowboys (was born in Texas) and the Titans.

I still have this damn game on, hoping for another clip of BA or WG2L… I should really go to sleep. LOL.

  31. 181 Crystal J. Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:30 am

Ladies - I’m leaving it on too! Maybe…

Cleveland wasn’t my hometown, was about 50 miles from me. My hometown was Massillon, home of Chris Spielman, with an amazing history in HS football. To show my age, I was in high school with him and his brother.

Anywho, these announcers totally suck. Now they are feeling sorry for Michael Vick and that they shouldn’t put him away for 23 months and deny him his career. WTF? He should have thought of that before he broke the law. Who are these jerks?

  32. 182 dani Dec 11th, 2007 at 1:35 am

ha I don’t watch football I’m a more of a watch Colorsplash (david bromstad, Ha I love his tatoos) HSM1 2 (Lucas, he’s good at acting singing, and beatboxing) and a anthing Blkae Lewis is on (he’s got what all of the above have and lots more!!!

  33. 183 Pam Dec 11th, 2007 at 10:20 am

I think we can forget about Kimmel until the strike is over. I just checked the website for the show and Blake is not listed on the site as a musical guest or a guest for that matter. Just thought I’d pass that along.

  34. 184 Bully Dec 11th, 2007 at 11:50 am

CrystalJ- I about fell over when I read Massillon. One of my online friends is Stanelle, who is very involved in Deaf Education and Human Rights. She also is one of the writers of The Nellie Zimmerman story. If you search Nellie’s name, you can see that Stanelle has been very active in trying to get the word out about Nellie, and show that deaf people can do anything, if given the education and support.
    xanga.com/stanelle

On another stanelle note, she thinks my fangirling over Blake is very cute. Our tastes differ on that topic, apparently! LOL.

Back to the football talk.(my spouse noticed BreakAnotha too! all on his own! LOL)

Back to the football talk.(my spouse noticed BreakAnotha too! all on his own! LOL)

    Bully,

So he was paying attention after all! LOL

  36. 186 Crystal J. Dec 11th, 2007 at 12:40 pm

That’s weird Bully! The State Hospital was acoss the interstate from the steel mill my dad worked in. Massillon was famous for football and the State Hospital.

I guess we’ve all gone hopelessly offtopic, waiting for these final sales numbers to come in.

  37. 187 Michelle Dec 11th, 2007 at 4:55 pm

A little late and OT, but i gotta say WORD to this. They just could not SHUT UP about it.

And Blake “second by a wiiiide margin”? not if me, four hours and a cell phone in each hand had anything to say about it. LAME.

  38. 188 Bully Dec 11th, 2007 at 5:23 pm

Yeah, the Vick thing makes me sick to my stomach. He’s a heartless murderer of dogs. His stable name was “Bad News”, and I believe it.

To those who don’t think he did such a bad thing, they should hear about all the dogs that were outright killed because of injuries– or left to hang and asphixiate. Anybody who would kill countless dogs in the name of entertainment is NOT a good guy, and capable of anything IMO.

Pam–yes, i was surprised that he not only noticed, but kindly(excitedly?? could it be??) called me over to hear the clip! Maybe his stance is softening. ;-)

Crystal J– It is a small world, eh? I always think of myself as pretty brave, but compared to tenacious stanelle? Whew! She’s a warrior for good, that woman. God bless her.

    Bully,

See, there is hope after all. :D
