One of my favorite Idol analysts, EW’s Michael Slezak, found a way to plug ADD in his recap of the season 7 finale.
That said, Jordin looked adorable (as usual), and seeing season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis mouthing the words to his one-time rival’s song gives me one more reason to plug his sadly underappreciated album Audio Day Dream.
If you haven’t read his recaps or watched his Idolatry vids, you should. Funny stuff.
ArtisanNews interviews Blake about ADD in the short vid Blake Lewis Remixes it Up. He talks about the music industry, his vision for ADD, and the addition of Lupe Fiasco on “Know My Name.”
Seattle PI ran this piece following up on Blake and Sanjaya, and gaywired.com has posted this interview, where he mentions a tour with BT in September and possible future projects with Black Thought from the Roots and Doug E Fresh. Finally, in this interview from dancemusic.about.com, Blake discusses the remix EP and his involvement in the electronic music scene.
I just had this myspace bulletin from the Seattle-based band Doxology. This sounds interesting. Anyone in Seattle gonna go??

“Audio Day Dream” has climbed to number 2 on iTunes. Yay! I’m sure most of you have already bought your copies, but remember that word of mouth is very important. Don’t forget to tell your friends, family, co-workers and myspace pals about A.D.D. Wouldn’t it be great to see Bshorty surpass the HDD prediction?
Check your inboxes. Johnny Nails sent out an email update from the road. Write to Johnny at johnnyontheroad@gmail.com if you’re not already on his list. Sounds like the boys have a sooper busy schedule. Tonight they play a showcase for Clive! Eeep! Good luck guys!
Last night Blake headlined Seattle’s KISS FM Jingle Bell Bash! Were you there? Please let us know how it went!! Leave us a comment here, or e-mail us a recap to teamplaid@gmail.com! We welcome pictures and video too!
We started back in April as a lark. A few of us were chatting at Mj’s (the same chat that is hosting our listening party tonight) and she offered to let us start a blog, using her software and servers. Well, it’s really grown and has been a ton of fun. If you’re planning to get the album on iTunes and like this blog, I ask that you will use the link that’ll be posted on our sidebar. MJ will get a referral fee and that would rock. :) It won’t cost you a cent more and we’d really appreciate your support.
Here’s the link to ADD on iTunes: It’s on the sidebar too. Thanks…mj
