“The hometowns always put the ceremonies, parades, concerts, etc together. AI just makes arrangements for the contestants to get back and I believe they also arrange for a bodyguard/entourage/etc to go along with the contestants. But the actual ceremonies and such are put together by the hometown.”

He expressed his frustrations on the radio shows he did and the (i think) Bothell concert. He made fun of the judges and said he wanted to slap Randy…hahah!

Oh nikki. I’m with you on Fall Out Boy, but Maroon 5 actually has some good lyrics. Maybe Blake’s voice can help you like them like he’s helping me like 311.
OMFG. I seriously can’t take it anymore.
1. He made the top 3! This is a time for CELEBRATION, not hand-wringing!
2. It does not matter where Blake goes in the lineup.
3. He will sing whatever the hell HE wants to sing. HE is the contestant. I think we all need to remember that and repeat it to ourselves hourly til we get it in our heads.
4. The powers that be are not trying to sabotage him. That makes NO SENSE whatsoever. Why would they sabotage someone who has the potential to make money for them?!
5. Did I already say it? THIS IS THE TOP 3. He is on Leno tonight, got to sing with Sir Mix-a-Lot at his great homecoming celebration, and has gotten to experience things that he never has before. He is enjoying it. And he is proud of what he’s done.
Again - HE’S FRICKING IN THE TOP 3! TOP 3! Of over 100,000 auditioners!
Aww. Kristi is so nice. I just love her. I think every idol should start an official fan base with their friends. You can just sense the support. Plus, real friend know how to squash rumors. You can’t say the Blaker Girls have the facts wrong when they are actually talking to people on the show.
I’m so bummed! I just found out I WON’T have access to the internet on vacation like I thought I would! So I won’t be able to watch Blake’s performances until next Monday at the earliest, AHHHHH!!!
Luckily Sarah is texting me his numbers so I can still vote vote vote but you guys better freak out extra for me when he performs! This is killing me to miss him do 3 songs, especially when we don’t know what they all are yet. Ahhhh the suspense!!!!!!!

I was reading all these posts and I just wanted to add I am in love with blakes backup band too arisawkadoria I thought it was pretty special to see the energy at the shows blake with a band of real friends I am just adding that because I don’t see it on this thread

Blake is going to rock tonight. I can’t wait to find out his song choices. So do we know if Clive is picking a song for the contestants, or are the other 2 songs both Blake’s choice? And do we just vote for 2 hours tonight? I know next week is 4, but I was thinking this week is just 2. Ooooh, and do we get to hear Blake’s voice tonight when we vote? I hope so, although it will make it tempting not to hang up immediately. I will make myself only listen to it once and then hang up immediately the other times. ;)

RollTide - I think you’re right on the 2 hour voting window tonight. I don’t remember it ever being 4 hours for the top 3 week. Of course, I didn’t vote during top 3 week last year, so… But yeah, we SHOULD also get his voice thanking us for voting for him tonight. But you never know. Heh.
