Ah OK, the VH1 site MUST have been screwed up at the time I used it then because at first it wouldn’t even show Blake on the top of the list!
I’ll re-try later :). Oh, I think there may be NO limit to how many times you can manually vote but I’m not 100% sure, heh. Just spread the word because it’d be cool if we could get Blake on that list for good!

So I just tried watching the Making of ADD video that came with the Wal Mart CD. I have watched it a couple of times. But when I click on it, it is taking me to the page to download it again! Is anyone else having this problem? I saved it when I downloaded it the first time and have played it since. It took a freaking 7 or 8 hours because I have stupid dial up. AGH!!!

Marieel, if it’s the one I’m thinking of, then no. I think it’s the Foxnews channel. Although, they did used to be on the Foxnews morning show on weekends. The Mike and Juliet show is actually on the Fox network like idol is but only in certain areas cause I don’t get that show here. lol I’d be surprised if it was the Mike & Juliet one since he has been on there already for CD promo but I could be wrong. When he was on there the last time, he didn’t actually perform because they did the interview and the lie detector test. lol I bet the official site will probably get this info up probably sometime this week just so that we can get everything straight. LOL
You guys were talking about voting for the “Break Anotha” video on VH1 earlier…well, TRL is back on this week after being on hiatus for the holidays, so take a minute to vote for Blake there too!

We all need to vote for TRL and VH1 (Wildcard) :). Even if it’s just a few votes here and there for those who are busy, it’s better than nothing!

Did BT get his little daughter back in custody? I never saw a follow up, but at his myspace people are still sending prayers and best wishes for her recovery…:-/

I don’t get XM in my car, but I have a Winamp player on my desktop where I can get XM without having to subscribe and I have heard BA on there numerous times if not on the actual countdown. In fact, BA has been gaining spins there on a weekly basis for quite sometime. It’s done very well there. I’m glad you finally got the chance to hear it! :) I found that with XM, you just have to be listening at the right time.

I haven’t heard locally on my top 40 station either, but I feel like when I vote on XM that I am making a difference somehow and that’s good. I know that it’s frustrating to request and not get the song played and the waiting to hear it but I suppose we have to be patient. It’s difficult, I know.

Absolutely! If any of you see that bulletin on your bulletin space just hit reply, copy it, and then repost and encourage others to do the same! I know that sometimes MS can be a bad thing sometimes, but when things like this happen, it can be used for good.
Mods - is it possible to do a “voting” thread, a sticky, or a tab so that we can have a quick reference on sites to go to? It might be easier for me, and maybe others, to have a sort of checklist to go thru. I quickly lose track of which thread a link is posted in.

That’s great to hear Blake made the Top 20 XM countdown!! We need to keep voting there and keep him on that countdown :).
(I like the idea of a separate thread for all the places we can vote, lol).
Nic - I don’t think he was on the countdown, but just on the station. I have been voting my fingers off there the last few days, but I wish more had been too. The song has now been pulled from the XM list. I knew that there would have to be new songs added. So I was voting in earnest the last few days, hoping it wouldn’t be one that was pulled in favor of new songs. Of course, I see Colbie Caillat now has another song on there, “Oxygen.”
OK, my bad, it sounded like Top 20 from this post but I could be wrong, perhaps it was after the countdown was over.
I can’t believe XM took the song off now that we finally got people to vote for it. :/ I guess we might as well devote our efforts to TRL and VH1 Wildcard, but quite honestly, I’m not sure how much of a difference we can make since Blake’s fanbase as a whole doesn’t seem as organized as some others are.
I’m sorry but this song just doesn’t sound good live. Just my opinion. Blake’s voice sounds weak(and we know it isn’t!). I think one problem is the chorus…just saying the title over and over….There’s no melodic hook. It’s tolerable on record but shows its weakness in a live format.
It does show off Blake’s energy and style.
I completely agree with everything you said about this single robbo.
Blake’s voice sounds weak when in reality he has a great vocals. Remember when he performed “She Will Be Loved” on tour? That’s what I am talking about.
BA doesn’t help him showcase his talents. He is having a hard time selling the song on a live format, apparently the NYE gig and the Leno performance did not do much to boost his sales.
Also, it’s a very difficult song to perform live but at the same time I think it was a wrong choice for first single, there is not enough of a hook to keep people interested. JMHO.
I am praying the second single works for him.
I don’t think Blake does a bad job of it live, and I know people who thought his vocals sounded fine… I think maybe the problem is it’s more a performance-friendly than radio-friendly song, if that makes any sense.
If people want a song that showcases his vocals more live, then go with “How Many Words” rather than something like “Know My Name.”
Why was the Leno clip removed?
