   Update from ChowBaby in Baltimore. She got Melinda’s autograph and took a picture of her. She said someone told her how sorry they were that she didn’t win. MindyDoo replied, “Honey, we’re all winners.” Chris/Hoots came out hours before she got there. And no appearance by The Shibby One. I told her to make sure she books it out there after the show, because you know if he missed meeting the fans prior, it seems he always tries to make up for it afterwards.

   She talked to Cathy, that security guard that’s always in pictures with Blake, haha. Cathy said that everyone’s feeling better, and that she can’t wait for the tour to be over. She said the only time she’s not with them is when they are in their hotel rooms. She also said she has to wait in the hotel lobby about 30 min. prior to them coming downstairs each day (I thought that was interesting). She took ChowBaby’s gift for Blake. Nice lady!!

   Update from ChowBaby: Intermission time. Blake is in a very good mood, making little noises during his set. She found a nice security guard who let her upgrade to the front row!! She sat next to a reporter from the Baltimore Sun. She said she told him to write something nice about Blake, and that the review will be put on MB’s. He was writing a lot during Sanjaya’s set, and she told him, “Wait until you see Blake’s set. He holds the audience in the palm of his hand”. Then some asshole in the 2nd row told her to sit down. She told him that you don’t sit down at a concert, and he told her she could go back to her original seat. So she sat. While Blake did his thing. Right next to the reporter she had just gushed over about B.

   ChowBaby’s concert’s over! She says the audience was treated to Spastic!Blake tonight. She said he was all up in Rich’s now during the Guy Band, and that his ear piece fell out, and he didn’t realize it for the longest time. She says the Cake medley was incredible- they did some kind of jam session with the band where Rich jammed with the drummer and Blake jammed with the guitar player? During the beat-off (heehee), Blake did some kind of thing where he put his hand over his stomach and moved it back and forth while he beatboxed. Rich asked what he was doing, and he said something about his intestines!! During the encore, Blelinda came up from the stage last, walking really slowly like the Bionic Man and Woman.

   As for the reporter, she said that she continued to pour on the praise for Blake. The reporter said he doesn’t make up his mind until he writes the review, and then left before the show was over. Argh! I hope he was able to look past crazy Blake to see how entertaining he is to the audience. Once again, his applause was thunderous. ChowBaby said he definitely won the cheering contest during the Cake medley (duh!).

   She’s waiting outside by the buses now, and says it’s going to be very difficult for them to get on the bus because the barricades are actually behind the buses, and the fans are standing in front of the buses. And, of course, there’s quite a lot of people there.

   I so loved reading that! I really hope that reporter that was sitting next to her judges B on his talents and not for his spazziness haha!

   Wow, hopefully that reporter gives B a good review! :) I’m glad you stood up to that person who was complaining about you standing. I don’t get people who sit the whole time at concerts.. you’re supposed to stand up and have a good time. Oy.

   There is poll being done over at IDF about who was the crowd favorite at the concert you were at. You are suppossed to be honest and not just put down you favorite.

   Anyway, Blake is so far ahead:)

   Just read the review from the show last night from the Baltimore Sun, will not be posting it here. However, it is up over at MJ if you really must read it. Though I wouldn’t bother.

   Whiny voice…. *sigh* Here we go again… Blake is so not whiny…

    No wonder the reporter from the Baltimore Sun left early - he had to go meet his crack dealer.

    I sort of thought it would be a bad review
    after she had said he left. Some reporters
    and I think this is one really didnt
    want to be there in the first place.
    They look on AI as beneath them so they are
    already predjudice towards the show.
    Now if they were forced to go to say a
    Maroon 5 concerts they may be a little
    more objective. This reporter was
    definetly bias he or she had nothing good
    to say about anyone.

    As far as the review, who cares. Some are good, or great…others not so much. It is just one persons opinion. I mean look at the show from Hampton. One review was brutal, then there was another one where the person seemed to actually enjoy the show, and even went on to call Blake the star(along with Jordin) and say what a nice voice he has. Same show, not like they did it twice for each of the reviews.

    I hope this is okay that I’m posting this here, but because they are down to their last three shows it seemed to sweet not to.

    Sligh posted this over on his blog.

    I’m blessed because I have come away from this experience with 9 great friends. Some closer than others, obviously, but 9 friends (10 if you count Shyamali) that I know will be lifelong. Phil and I will be living 5 minutes apart and Melinda is close by. In the fall, I’ll be co-producing a project for Gina. Haley will be coming in and out of Nashville meeting with my management, trying to find the right fit for her musically. Rich and I are hoping to go see some NFL (yes, the Colts are going to kill the Broncos) together. Blake will always be my brother. I mean, to get 10 friends you love out of this is way more than I could’ve hoped.

    This has just been a very special group, anyway I hope it was okay that I posted this here.

    Awwww.
    I loved Sligh’s blog. That wa touching. I really loved this group from the very beginning and IMO is one of the closest groups out of all the six seasons. I do hope they stay in touch forever.

    How cute! I am telling you if Jordin wasn’t 17 and so young I think she would be a great girl for Blake. JMHO. THe problem is that they are like 9 years apart. Whio knows? Maybe in the future. Heh.

    That blog from Sligh was truly touching. I don’t this group will lose touch anytime soon. I think they have formed bonds that will last a lifetime!

    This has just been a very special group, anyway I hope it was okay that I posted this here.

    We always come back to that when we talk about S6… But I think it’s a shame they didn’t show us more of their personalities. This group seems to be really tight, and it would have been great to see more of that instead of countless celebrities parading on the air.
