That is one reason I found it impossible NOT to like her. She is really truly like that, a giver in personality, and she wants to make people feel good when she performs. Every time, she’s glad to be there. It struck me Finale night, just how perfect an “Idol” she is for the industry. Standing there at Disney? A million hearts soared and smiled at her.
I noticed she wore an orange band, and had her nails orange. I didn;t know it was for her Mom’s friend, but it is touching that she did that. For every time a celeb takes the time to share the Awareness for Cancer and stuff, it bring a better push. We join our will, to theirs.
I was proud of Blake in being caught singing along with Jordin, because it shows, he really loves her. He’s involved in her life, and it earnestly showed. For the record, I’d love to hear him sing ANY of Jordin’s songs, but that’s a different kettle of fish altogether! :-)

I’m happy cuz yes I might get to go to the concert tour and cz Archi got a contract yesterday with Sony BMG… fastest any runner up has gotten picked up and he had 6 other offers and he got paid more money than cook!!!!and his CD should come out around Christmas!!!! Yay!!!! *spazma attack* LOL!!! I’m happy!

I hope so i want both David’s to be succesful.. I gonna buy both their albums!!!! I’m really happy for both of them and I’m happy for Blake cuz peopele are realizing how awsome his cd is and they are like people you ar e crazy not to buy it!!!
Dani - I hear that is just a rumor being circulated by Daddy Dearest about Archie getting more money than David C. There is just no way the runner-up would get more money than the winner. It makes the finale a joke, if it is true. I can tell you right now, if it is true, I won’t bother voting again. No offense to David A. intended.

There were things not seen before, like from the audition, him talking to Seacrest, some chatter Hollywood week. I liked the extras, even if it was familiar from things I’ve seen before. Nothing mind-blowing different, no. Nothing like PWARS to push one over the edge to buy it.
What was different and fun, and totally in line with what we know about him, was they showed him during rehearsal on stage doing some beatboxxing like he does. People were like, Oh Wow! Fun seeing it and the people reactions.
Hi girls! I know I’ve been around for a while but I wanted to get all the finale stuff behind me. LOL I am so honestly relieved at the outcome of this year’s finale. In fact, I’m still somewhat in shock. It all just seems like a dream right now.
Yes, I voted the entire 4 hours for Cookie because I could see the bus being rolled over him with the comments he got on Tuesday but in my heart I knew if something like that hadn’t happened, I don’t know how seriously the fans would have took all of this. I was so stunned at the 12 million vote difference to be honest because Archie did a splendid job on Tuesday. It was one of his best nights in a long time. I’ve been really touched at seeing the brotherly relationship that Cookie has with Archie. Archie is a very sweet kid and I hope only the best for his future.
Yes, I loved the ZZ Top performance. That was the highlight of the night for me other than Cookie winning. :D I agree with you Crystal about the money thing. A lot of the fans have bought into that as it being true. I don’t believe it either.
Last year’s finale brings back a lot of good memories with that performance of Blake with Dough E. Fresh. :)

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Archuleta already has his record contract already set. I fact, I heard rumors that Idol had already picked out song writers for him months ago well before he ever had a chance to win Idol in the first place. What does that mean? If this information is true, he was a major PLANT and they would have signed him all along. That makes me even happier that Cookie won after all!
Oh, I am THRILLED that Cook won too. ;) Only the second time in seven seasons that my top favorite has ever won, and the last time was all the way back in Season 1 with Kelly! So it was a long damn time to wait!

Like Pam, I voted the entire 4 hours (got in just under 3000 votes) despite having a housefull of company I hadn’t seen in quite a few years. They all thought I was obsessed. I just informed them I wasn’t obsessed, rather I was determined to finally have my favorite become the next American Idol. No way was I not going to dial and text the whole 4 hours. I’m still in shock and awe, but starting to finally calm down a bit. David has been my favorite from the start along with Michael Johns and I’m just so happy that both of them are finally going to get the recognition they both deserve. This season has been a joy, but I still miss season 6.

You did much better than me. LOL I had the cell in one ear and the cordless in the other and managed to get in just over 1000 votes in 4 hours. My mother’s fave was Michael Johns too. I thought he was fantastic. I hated he got voted off so early. I still miss season 6 too.
